Hello 20-somethings!

I noticed that there was no official thread for all the 20-somethings to post on, so I created one. Let's all introduce ourselves so that we can support one another through our weight-loss struggles and applaud one another when we reach our goals!

Hi all,

Now that there's an official thread (unofficially - thanks Grace ;) ), we can all post and get great support.

Well, let me introduce myself. My name is Christina. I am 22 years old, married mother of one, and a college student.

My first goal is to be under 200 pounds by July 4th. I KNOW I can do it, especially with the support of others in the same boat.

Well, good luck everyone, and I can't wait to hear from you!!!

Well, I'm 26 years old, married to the best person I have ever met. I am the mother of the cutest boys ages 7 and 3. I've been on Jenny Craig since Nov. and I am very proud to say that I've lost 23 pounds. I'm currently at 204 and am sooooo anxious to be under 200 pounds. I started to work out 2 weeks ago with "walk aerobic" I hope to see some results soon.

Wonderful meeting you all...WE CAN DO THIS!!!!!!:D :D :D

Bye for now...Check in on you guys later

Till then...be good.. and God Bless:angel:

Hi ladies,

Good to meet you! Well, let me tell you a bit about myself.. I'm 19 and married to a wonderful, loving, caring man since January 13, 2002.. We just celebrated our one month anniversary before Valentine's Day. I've lost 37 pounds, and have 53 more to go! I don't have any kids, and I also don't plan on having kids just yet because I know I'm not ready to take on that responsibility.

One of my biggest (and possibly one of the most vain) goals right now is to look and dress my age, whether it be wearing slim fitting dresses, low rise jeans, or getting a super short haircut - just for fun. I've always felt deprived of that simple pleasure, and I really would like to know what it feels like before I get too old.

I'm following the Weight Watchers at home plan, and jog/walking daily, Monday thru Friday. I also try to drink anwhere from 12-16 glasses of water, so needless to say, I pee a LOT. :)

That's probably more than you cared to know, but I didn't want to miss any details!

Until next time,
Gracie

Good Morning Lady's

Hi, I'm from Alberta and am 25 yrs old, I have a 4yr old son and recently got engaged to the man I've been with for the last 6 yrs, it's about time he popped the question.

I've been thinking about starting a 20 something thread glad you did. I have alot of weight to lose 180 lbs and have started my new healthy lifestyle on Feb 11, 2002, I lost 6lbs last week and hope to do just as good this week.

TOM visisted so it might affect my weight, don't know will have to see, weigh in day is on Monday for me.

I've tried every kind of diet out there, so I'm not dieting anymore,
I'm just making better choices and trying to excersise, I want to be able to do this for the rest of my life and if I restrict myself from certain things, I will lose it and have a huge binge session, so I'm choosing healthier foods and smaller portions, and sweet here and there.

I (we) will lose this burden.:dizzy:

Hi ya'll, my name is Elizabeth and this is my first post on the thread, so I will tell a little about myself. I am 22 and a college student who has fallen into the depths of late night eating, and eating junk food 24/7. It is horrible! I just discovered this site today and am so excited about it. I didn't know such places existed. I think that this will be a great place for us all to come and post exciting things that have happened to us during the week. I am not sure yet what my goal is, I am going to be weighing tomorrow and am not looking forward to it. Well, good luck to you all and talk to you later.

 Good morning

I'm happy to announce another 5lbs loss, last week, that's a total of 11lbs in two weeks. I pray I can keep this up, with out this site I'm sure I'd be shoving food in my face instead of typing and reading, it really keep me preoccupied. I give all the praise to the other lady's on this site, there the ones that keep me going on a daily basis.

Hope everyone's doing great, just remember nothing tastes as good as being thin feels, I can't wait to go shopping at regular size stores. Wear a pair of Tommy Jeans or even get my belly button peirced, that's along ways off, but it's going to happen.

I joined the Easter Challenge and my goal is to lose 20lbs by April 1st(that's also my birthday).:dizzy:

Talk to ya later:moo:

How is everyone?? Sounds like we have a new group here! I'm very excited. I need all the support I can get!!

Duckie~ I know exactly how you feel about dressing our age and such. I feel that the more I weigh, the older I tend to dress. I am just dying to wear cute summer dresses with a built in bra or a two-piece bathing suit, whether it be a tankini or a bikini... maybe I'll start with the tankini and in a year or two when my abs are super toned, I could advance.. ;)

Well, as far as challenges go, I'm challenging myself to lose about 10 pounds by the start of spring. I know I can do it if I stay within my points range and continue jog/walking daily (I am very slowly training myself to jog).

Anyway, better get going. I'm meeting my jogging buddy in a few...

Hey. I'm new here too... I'm a 21 year old college student, and decided to join today. I decided two weeks ago to take charge of my life and my weight and started working out almost every day (I only missed last Saturday). And I'm REALLY trying to watch what I eat, but it's so hard! But I know I can do it this time, because I'm just sick of being fat :) But it's nice to know that there's so many people like me that are making the same decision as I am and struggling like me:) So thanks for all the honesty on these boards -- it's really refreshing. Wish me luck on my "journey" -- it WILL happen this time.

Welcome to our group! A piece of advice: It takes 21 days to form a habit, then just 1 day after that to pick it back up again. Try surfing the web for articles and success stories. Here are some of my favorites: http://www.getting2goal.com, http://healthygurl2001.homestead.com/homepage.html , and http://vickisweightlossjourney.homestead.com/mainpage.html ... These websites all have some really inspiring pictures and are all regularly updated..

Well, until next time... keep posting and checking regularly, because I guess we're not getting updates for a while.

Take care,
Gracie

I'm 24 years old, just started my own (not paying!) Weight Watchers plan at home. I've tried weight watchers 3-4 times, but never succeeded, because I just didn't have the internal motivation to do it. After stepping on the scale at my parents last thursday and finding I weighed 297 lbs (a whole 50 lbs more than my previous "worst" weight of 250!!!) I suddenly found the internal motivation. I'm tired of having this big belly... I'm tired of being so out of shape, and tired of looking and feeling like this!! so here goes nothing!!!

I've already seen the weight "fall" off.. in a little less than a week, I've already lost 8 lbs!! so hooray!!

I'm married to a very supportive husband (we were married this past July), who also has the metabolism of a horse, and "lives" at the gym. I'm tired of being "that fat girl married to that really hot guy!" He's been SO good about eating the same food as me, and trying to avoid eating "junk" food when I'm around.. I'm really lucky to have him!!

I look forward to getting to know all of you better!!

well i hope you all feel good about the starts you have made. excersise and water are great and help. the best thing to remeber and what helped me was knowing that you didnt get there over night and it wont come off over night. that will get you throught he hard times. i suppose i could listen to my own advise. i had reached 9 lbs above my goal as on 2 years ago, and slowly, i am back to 17 away. i need some help to get the rest of the way. i have been so "good" yet, no luck yet. i lam new to this site, and have heard wonderful things about online support, and make sure that i have started a food journal. all the right things. i am confident we can all do this together.

i am 27 and single no children. can say that the weight isnt an issue on how i feel about myself. i will check in later.

Just checking up to see how things are going. I'm doing great! Lost 4 pounds at WI yesterday and I'm thrilled! Well, keep up the good work ladies.

I think that everyone should post more than once for this to be a group! Don't wait for everyone else to post! Just check in every so often so we all know how everyone's doing.

Well, I hope to see more posts soon!

Point taken Gracie:) Congratulations on your weigh in!

I was doing a lot better last week... It snowed this week so I missed Tuesday working out, and I went to Red Lobster last night -- It was so good, but I ate too much. And today I am craving everything I see (or think about). It doesn't help that I've had three tests this week and an interview! I only have four classes -- three tests. It's been crazy. I've been studying like a madwoman. Oh, well, hopefully the grades will be good. I have made it to work out the rest of the days, though, so that's on my side. I'll do better next week :)

Hi! I am 26 years old and getting married in June. My weight has fluctuated a lot over the last few years. Five years ago, I was 185, then three years ago I was down to 145! I have slowly crept back up!

I broke down and bought a scale yesterday (reality is scary!) I hadn't been on one since my annual dr's visit last February!

It is wonderful to know I am not alone in this!

current - 165
initial goal - 150
someday goal- 135

Carol,

Staying the same is better than gaining. Don't get discouraged. I'm sure if your period didn't make a grand entrance, the scale would have shown a loss!!

How are you all doing? I'm a little on the tired side this am... but boy does it look BEAUTIFUL outside! Sure, it's freezing... but the sky is so blue and I love it.. Awwww... I want to go on a vacation!!!!!!!!!! Disneyland, here I come!! Of course, I know that I would enjoy it so much more if I lost some more weight. I'm hoping to be much smaller by the time summer arrives... (which, by the way, is much closer than we all think!) That way.. I can walk around all day with tons of energy... go on all the rides... be a KID... (eat healthy snacks that I was so diligent to pack) ... and NOT have a rash in between my legs by 4pm! I am really in the mood for some hardcore fun. Last night, my husband and I went to go see "Lord of the Rings".... Great movie... crappy ending. I was so mad! It just STOPPED. They didn't finish their quest!!!! Argh. So, no more movies....

BA99TJ~ I just read your post in the "Dreams" thread (go check it out ladies! It's the best thread! Though, I'm not quite sure where in the forum it is...) and I was thinking about your dream about not wanting to weigh more than your husband... BOY CAN I RELATE! When I first met my husband a few years ago... I weighed way more than he did... He was in excellent shape, and I was.. well... at my highest weight. I didn't start losing weight until we got engaged, but I am so thankful because I know that he fell in love with ME and not my body.. Well, since then, I've lost about 40 pounds and he gained a little belly... so I now (finally!) weigh about 15 pounds less than he does! I used to be so embarrassed to even tell him my weight or talk to him, but now, he is my biggest supporter!

Carol~ I ALWAYS gain 4 pounds on my period. Never fails. So keep track of these patterns and you won't get discouraged.

Well, talk to you all later!

This week is going much better than last week! And spring break starts on Friday! Not that I'm going anywhere, but just not having class for a week will be great.

I know what you mean about the Lord of the Rings movie -- I loved it! Up until the end, too... They should have found a better place to stop it (I don't want to give away the movie, so I'll try and be vague). But it is a trilogy or something. It has a lot more parts, so it'll have to keep going... Star Wars is coming out soon!! I hope it's better than the last one with the stupid Jar Jar Binks. Nothing compares to the originals, though.

I think the Dreams thread is in a 100 Club or something, because I've found it too... It really makes you think... I can relate with basically all of them.

Yesterday I did great as far as eating and exercising, and I will do just as good today (I hope) -- it's a great feeling! Totally makes up for the weekend.

Here is the link to the "Dreams" thread

Dreams Link in 100lb Club (http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2646)

I'm doing good today.. So far I've managed to avoid the brownie monster. I've been having a hard time controlling my carbs the last few days, I think mainly because I had a HUGE carb load on Sunday, and only walked for about 15 minutes that day around the parking lot at the movie theatre.

I was GOING to go see Lord of the Rings, but everyone said to wait until it comes out on DVD so you aren't mad you blew $20 for a crappy ending... I trust my friend's judgement!!

By the way, I'd give a RAVE review for a few movies for you.

#1 I Am Sam. GREAT movie, bring tissues, will cry. Can take hubby or boyfriend to this one.
#2 A Walk To Remember. FABULOUS movie, will cry PROFUSELY, bring more than one box of tissues, main character is a boy, a hubby who can "tolerate" chick-flicks will enjoy this.
#3 40 Days and 40 Nights. Hysterical, lots of sex jokes, lots of "boob shots", but great overall.. Will laugh a lot!!

So today is Tuesday. I'm hoping to do my Yoga-fatburner video tonight because my husband has to work late at the last minute so he can't talk me out for my walk. :( We'll see if I am any more successful now that my endurance is a little better.

Gracenote- Thanks for the encouragement. I have a husband who lives at the gym and has the metabolism of a racehorse... I doubt he will EVER have a "belly" but at least I can strive to weigh less than him!! (even if my goal is only about 10 lbs less than what he weighs!) I'm glad you were encouraged by those posts.

By the way girls, a little note about TOM... I'm on depo provera.. only gained 10 lbs which were easily lost, and NO MORE PERIODS! no more mood swings, no more bloat, no more cramps, no more blood... its great!! I would reccomend it to ANYONE who wants to wait more than 2 yrs to get pregnant, and the best part about it is you can have the shot before you leave the hospital after giving birth (no worries about breast feeding!!) I have had tremendous success with it and would reccomend it to anyone!! (although I would suggest if you weigh 225 or more to ask your doctor to give you 2 shots rather than just one, as I struggled with only one, but as soon as they doubled the dose I was fine.) Its a shot every three months, and I love it!!

Hope you all have a great day, sorry I haven't been good about posting here.. its nice to see it getting lively again!

I am 26 years old and I've gained about 60 pounds in the past 3 years. I'm currently at about 230 with a goal weight of 165.

I've been dating a guy for 4 years, and he too has gained a lot of weight. We've decided that when each of us gets to a certain weight (in my case - 175), we will get married. We both enjoy sports and working out, which we do together. However, he is not so good at the dieting part so I'm pretty much on my own as far as that is concerned.

I'm hoping this board will inspire me to stick to my guns and lose all of my excess 'baggage'.

hey there girls,

well thanks for the encouragement on the sticking scale!!! i am just gonna keep on. excersise, eat well, and water. maybe by next sunday i will have some positive news to report. i have enjoyed all the posts...

loved I am Sam, cried my eyes out!!!

my boy loved it also. he's so cute. he cries in movies with me!

sometimes i feel he can't relate to my struggle. he can drop lbs. in days..when he wants. he is a little chunky these days, but not because he can't lose, he just hasnt tried. that is the opposite of me. try my heart out, little benefit.

remind me that this didnt happen over night and it doesnt comeoff overnight!!!

bring on 143. and looser clothes, my favorite feeling!

goodnight girls!!!

:) Wouldn't it be great if we could just think our way into skinnier bodies without any work?? sometimes it is SO frustrating because it sure was easy to pack these pounds on, but it sure is HARD to get them back off. I'm happy-er today because I ate like a cow yesterday (thats 3 days in a ROW now I've been at maximum points!!!!!) but I also drank water like crazy.. and was a lb lighter. I actually had to look at the scale 3 or 4 times because I couldn't believe it.

hope you are all having great days...

i have chowed for days and been lighter..its weird. then i try it for a few more and back to where i started..lol. the water helps beth anne, for sure.

i am feeling good today. gonna try to increase my strength training and included "legs" which i hate!!! but will help my metabolism, i hope. let you know how it goes!!

:yawn:Good Morning All !!!!

It sounds like everyone is doing great, been away for over a week and now I'm back and ready to get motivated, this site is great for keeping my mind busy, instead of my mouth. I'll have to check out the Dreams thread sounds inspiring.;)

It's -30 here this morning, can you beleive that it's March and were still getting -30 I need to move, I hate the cold. Can't wait till it gets warm  and I can start walking out side.
I went out and bought an exercise tape on Monday ( Marching to Fitness???) very low impact, it's only 30 minutes, I managed to do the whole tape, I might not be doing the steps quite right but I keep on moving, I'm so uncoridinated, but it's a start.

Monday was weigh in day I lost 3lbs last week I was a little surprised considering I've been eating like a pig, I still drink lots of water though, so maybe that helped. I find I can do good all day long and when supper comes around I just want to eat and eat and eat:devil: something just comes over me. I still need to work on my portions.:nono:

One of my goals also is to weigh less than my fiance, I've never weighed less than him and the way he's been eating lately he may catch up to me, He's only about 215lbs, but that's big for him, I'm use to him being about 180lbs. And I should be one to talk but I'll be the first to critize him, I know I'm really big and fat, but I don't want to have a boyfriend that is,a big belly is a real big turn off for me, I know it's stupid and I have no right to critize but I can't help it, it's just me, will have to work on that.;)

Well guess I should go and get some work done keep up the good work.:sheep:

Hi everybody. I'm new to this forum. I have posted on the buddy forum in the past, but this group seems more my speed. I'm 27, married for 5 months to a wonderful husband and have an 8 year old step daughter who is as skinny as a rail. my current weight is 225, down 20 pounds from this time last year. I lost the 20 pounds before my wedding, so I know I can do it. But after my wedding I just seemed to quit trying and hit a plateau. I went shopping with my friend yesterday. She's a size 8, and I was so envious that she could shop in the really chic stores:^: So that was it. I vowed to get back on track. I can use all of the support I can get. The sun is out here and I am going to go for a walk before I go to work. Talk to you all again soon!

Current weight:225
First goal:199 before July 1
Final goal:175

Andrea - who are you, my twin? I've been married for almost 8 months, have an almost 8 yr old step daughter who is skinny as a rail (like her dad) and plays soccer!!!!

I didn't lose any weight before my wedding, but I gained almost 50 lbs after!! Here's to skinny us-es!

Sorry I've been completely gone guys.. its rather been the week/weekend from hell.

First I had my sleep study done on Thursday (to rule out narcolepsy) I'm not feeling great about it, because every time I fell asleep, I was dreaming, which means I was in R.E.M. sleep, which is not a good sign. Of course, I won't know anything until I go to the doctor, so I shouldn't panic, but its hard not to. When I got home, I made the ww recipie for parmasean pull-bread, and proceded to eat half the pan. I don't know why, probably stupid carb addictions coming through again. Then Friday I had horrible asthma attacks all morning, so I ended up going home. Saturday was with the DH all day, then out with the "girls" at night (DH went to a Chinese buffet with the guys, must of eaten 50 points worth of food... man was I jealous!!!)
Sunday was at mom and dad's, with my brothers (one real, one might as well be my brother), and made a huge vat of vegetarian lo mein, then went to Youth Group, won the competition and a 14 oz bag of M&Ms. Monday morning woke up with stomach flu, spent the day at home, and once I was feeling better, finished off the ENTIRE bag of M&Ms. I couldn't help it, and I'm allowed to screw up every once in a while... I had also drank 96 oz of water, a new record, and did about 2 hours of really heavy work around the house. (I was feeling MUCH better by about 3 pm.)

I'm also on prednisone because of my asthma attacks, which is killing me. I haven't gained weight, but I'm retaining water like crazy!!! I drank about 64 oz of water between 6 and 9 pm, and if I've "expelled" 20 oz I'd be amazed. Maybe it was just all the choclate.

Anyways, I'm back on the bandwagon, writing down my points.. here's to a new week!!!

Good morning

Welcome Andrea hope you find all the motivation your looking for.

It seem's like last week wasn't a very good week for to many people, I post on another thread and pretty much every one had a binge bout, we just have to continue and not beat our selves up over it. It happen to everyone.

I WI yesterday, and after a week of pigging out in the evenings I wasn't surprised to see that I gained 3lbs. I'm not going to let that stop me, started fresh yesterday and am gunho to have a great week. Need to get more excersie and water in me. I drink lots, but the washrooms at work are in another building so it makes it difficult and embarrasing to be running to the bathroom all day long.

BA99TJ what does R.E.M. sleep mean and narcolepys.

Have a good day and keep on munching ( on veggies):dizzy:

My name is Jamie and i'm 20 years old. I live in Pennsylvania, with my 9 month old son and fiance. My weight loss goal is 30-35 lbs. I am just starting this. And my first goal is to cut out all the fatty and junk food that I eat (which is a lot). :p Hopefully this will be a lot easier with support then it sounds. Like I said, I have a 9 month old son, and my main thing to get rid of is my baby belly that is still there. It honestly looks like i'm 4 or 5 months pregnant because of this belly.

anyway, I can't wait to start this journey with you ladies and get myself fit! :s:

Hey Duckie:

Narcolepsy: Narcolepsy is a disorder characterized by excessive daytime sleepiness and uncontrollable daytime sleep episodes that occur rapidly and inappropriately, often while other tasks are being performed. Many people with narcolepsy also have one or more of the following: cataplexy, which is a sudden loss of muscle tone triggered by strong emotion; hypnagogic hallucinations, or dream-like states that occur between waking and sleeping; and atonia, a feeling of paralysis that occurs between wakefulness and sleep wherein the person is conscious but cannot speak or move.

I have excessive daytime sleepiness, uncontrollable daytime sleep episodes, and hypnagogic hallucinations. They are not 100% positive I HAVE narcolepsy which is why I had to have that sleep study.
Narcolepsy happens when a person falls directly into R.E.M. sleep, and spends most of their sleep time there, instead of going through the normal 4 phases of sleep.

Here's a long definition of REM and NREM sleep:
.
NREM AND REM SLEEP. Prior to the discovery and reporting of rapid eye movements during sleep, it was thought that sleep was a single state of passive recuperation in which the central nervous system was deactivated. Studies concerned with the measurement of central and autonomic activities during sleep have led to its division into two types: non-rapid eye movement (NREM) sleep, also called orthodox or synchronized (S) sleep; and rapid eye movement (REM) sleep (so called because of the rapid eye movements during this stage), also called paradoxical or desynchronized (D) sleep.

On the basis of electroencephalographic (EEG) criteria, NREM sleep is subdivided into four stages. Stage 1 is observed immediately after sleep begins or after momentary arousals and is characterized by low-voltage, mixed-frequency EEG tracing, with predominantly theta-wave activity (four to seven hertz, that is, cycles per second). Stage 2 is characterized by intermittent waves of 12 to 16 hertz, known as sleep spindles. Stages 3 and 4 consist of relatively high voltage EEG tracings with a predominance of delta wave activity (one to two hertz).

The EEG patterns of NREM sleep suggest that this is the kind of apparently restful state that supports the recuperative functions assigned to sleep. NREM sleep is increased after physical activity and has a relatively high priority among humans in the recovery sleep following extended periods of wakefulness.

Within 90 minutes after sleep begins, an adult progresses through all four stages of NREM sleep and then proceeds into the first of a series of REM periods of sleep. Brief cycles of about 10 to 30 minutes of REM sleep recur throughout the night, alternating with various stages of NREM sleep. With each cycle, NREM sleep decreases and REM sleep increases so that by the end of the night most of the sleep is REM sleep, which is when dreams occur. While everyone dreams every night, many do not remember dreaming; most people are aware, however, that they dream more just before rising.

In addition to the rapid eye movements that can be observed through closed eyelids, REM sleep can be recognized by complete relaxation of the lower jaw. Convulsions, myocardial infarction, and cardiac arrhythmias are more likely to occur during REM sleep. This is probably because of increased autonomic activity, irregular pulse, and fluctuations in blood pressure, which are all typical of REM sleep.

PATTERNS OF SLEEP. Although the average adult spends approximately 25 percent of total accumulated sleep in REM sleep and 75 percent in NREM sleep, the cyclic changes vary with individuals. The pattern of sleep, in addition to the REM and NREM states, also includes the periods of sleep and wakefulness within a 24-hour period.

Factors affecting the total sleep pattern include age, state of physical health, psychological state, and certain drugs. Newborns follow a pattern of several hours of sleep followed by a period of wakefulness. REM sleep occurs at the onset of sleep in infants; it rarely does in adults. As the child matures there is an increasing tendency toward longer periods of nocturnal sleep. Elderly persons sometimes return to the shorter periods of sleep that are typical of infants.

HI everyone! I hope everybody had a better yesterday than I did. I was doing great until I found the leftover pizza in the fridge and decided to eat it all for lunch.:o Six pieces...ugh! Then I had chicken fingers from the cafe at work for dinner:ink: So I have decided to go to the grocery store today and load up on healthier alternatives.

Beth Anne- What a coincidence about our lives! I really hope to lose this weight and be able to keep up with my step daughter, Ashley, and go shopping with her and buy clothes from the same store that she does. Good luck on your sleep study, hope it all works out for the best!

I am debating on joining a gym, but I am so afraid I will spend all of that money and never go. Guess it will take more thinking!

Talk to you later

Having a scale in my house for the first time in over a year hasn't been too terrible. I make sure to weigh myself first thing in the morning right before I hop in the shower - it is a little lower than any other time of the day. I have an exercise bike, but I just can't fit it in my schedule as often as I would like! It is very hard having a fiance who eats like crap, never exercises, and still loses and/or maintains his weight. Aah, genetics! I hope every is doing well and is succeeding! I need all of the help I can get! My willpower is non-existent on most days.

Does anyone else have a "work" problem? I work for a school district and there are always snacks, treats etc. on the table! If food is in front of me, I eat it!

Valerie

Valerie

I have a work problem though not the same as yours. I work second shift and my husband likes to have "dinner" ready for me at 11:30 when I get home. Nomatter how much I beg and plead, he insists that this is our only time together during the week, and we will at least have dinner together. I must give him credit though, he tries to fix healthy meals for me.:) So I try to eat light throughout the day and hope all of the late night dinners don't hinder my weight loss too much.

Have a wonderful day...Andrea:strong:

hey again..just wanted to say hello for this monday night...i am trying to pick up some new hobbies. so after 1 year and a half plus with my hispanic boyfriend, i figured its time to get the spanish audio tapes and try to learn this language!! since my mom in law speaks no english what so ever! so hopefully some other hobbies will keep me occupied and away from a food focus. i sometimes obsess about food when watching my weight, so im trying not to do that. "i like being thinner more than food", i have to tell myself when i approach that full feeling.

i really do like to feel thinner...i like looser clothes and feel better. this is so do-able.

hanging in..
