Search problems

Hello!

I am having trouble finding things with the search function of this board. Over and over I enter criteria into search which I think is correct, but the right information doesn't show up. I am quite computer literate. (That includes previous experience being an Administrator on a vBulletin messageboard in which I taught (via video) all Moderators how to properly use the search function in order to direct users to the information they were looking for.) However I am also blonde, and can admittedly be quite the absent-minded airhead at times.

I would very much appreciate any info which would help me get better results when doing search here.

I seem to recall a problem with search a few months ago, but it was resolved. Maybe the same problem has occurred. Can you tell me a sample search term used that gave wrong results, so I can check the results and pass it to tech?

Yes, over the next few weeks I will come back here with sample searches. Would very much appreciate your input as we sort this out together.

I'm not sure if you know this, but the company that now owns 3FC also owns vBulletin, so they should be able to get to the bottom of this
