Thanks so much! And yeah, I noticed I needed to tighten it up today when I was changing my ticker--then my girls needed me so I had to get off the computer.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately and I would like to change my name to match my hotmail/ twitter and wordpress ID. I know I have a lot of posts here and people really know me by Velveteen but I'm ready to move on. I do apologise too - YEARS ago I had another account but it was long forgotten when I came back and joined as Velveteen.
I promise not to change again

If you are automatically logged in, you'll stay logged in after the change. The forum cookie goes by your account number, not your name. But if you have to log in manually and can't log in with your first name, then try your new one. I'll go see which name is available for you and make the change
