hey, I had forgotten about this!

I did get some sewing done and made my first skirt for a belly dance performance

Exercise has been sidetracked due to my vacation and then getting sick but my plan is to get started again on Monday.

Default Okay, let's see...

MISSIONS FOR 2005

Health: Become a WW Lifetime member and maintain my goal weight
working on this

1. Join WW with a clean slate in January.
done

2. Plan weekly menus using my WW points.
going okay but still needs work

3. Only cook WW friendly recipes.
this is working out quite nicely

4. Try one new WW recipe each week.
yup!

5. Build up a new pantry/freezer system.
nope!

6. Eat breakfast every morning.
yup!

7. Use my weight tracker journal everyday.
er, kinda...

8. Exercise everyday using Slim in 6 videos, bellydance, yoga, pilates videos.
nice try

9. Get out and enjoy the winter season by walking, skating etc.
I did do this

10. Keep all my ww materials, weigh in book and journal in the same place all the time.
Yup!

Mental/Spiritual: work on bringing balance to my life and reducing stress

1. Take time each day to unwind after work.
Yup...I now take 15 - 20 minutes do to this

2. Read one book per month.
I'm actually surpassing this

3. Start work on my sewing/crafting projects.
been working on some costumes

4. Set up a meditation space in the house and use it.
hoping to get this done soon

5. Spend more time outdoors in the sun and fresh air.
been going for walks at lunch everyday and doing gardening on the weekends

6. Watch less television.
reduced my t.v time by 4 hours per week

7. Begin every morning with a few moments of quiet thought over a cup of tea.
yup! nice calming effect before the morning rush

8. Have a date night with DH once per week.
hard to do lately as DH has been working a lot

9. Run errands during the week so I actually get to have a relaxing weekend.
getting better at this

10. Have a once per week “girly night”i.e bubble bath, pedicure, manicure, self pampering night.
Wednesday night like clockwork!

Update:

1. Diet Plan - I've been trying and experimenting to come up with something that will work. I'm not quite there, but I've got some better ideas and have been doing a lot better and being more aware of what my choices are.

2. Interior Design Classes - Well, I know I said I should finish what I start. But I also think it's important to discard what you know you will not finish. I am about to the point with this project. I'll keep it for now, but it may get decluttered when we move in a few months.

3. Work up to three days a week at the gym/exercising - I have been doing alright on this. I'm at a steady two days per week, a lot of the time I do three but not enough to actually claim it as a goal having been met. *L*

4. Budget - we know what we need to do now... now it's only a matter putting it into action.

5. Book of things I want for a house & magazine clippings - I have maintained this and I have kept up very well with letting the magazines pile up. I get three or four and then I go through and cut out what I want and toss the rest.

6. Gratitude Journal - meh. I stopped this a while ago because I was too depressed to think of anything nice to say, and as they say if you don't have anything nice to say.. blah blah blah. I am going to get back onto this though because I did feel better when I was doing it. Maybe we should wake up that old thread about happy and grateful...

So, I don't know about anyone else, but I forgot all about this and had to do a search just to find the old thread!
Thought it was a good time to bring it back, see what we wanted to work on, reflect on whether or not we got there, and start thinking about our 2006 missions.

As for me, well, I didn't do as well as I'd like to, but that's okay. It's a new year. I'll have to start thinking on my missions for a day or so...
