Okay chicks, it's "official" I now consider myself a "runner." (well kind of ) Last Saturday as I was nearing the end of my walk I decided to try jogging the last little bit and lo and behold, I survived (Yippiee). So I've been jogging the last portion of my walk since then (and by last portion we're talking 100-150 feet maybe 200 feet . My goal is to slowly increase the time I jog, so that hopefully by the end of the summer, I'll be jogging the entire distance. The endorphin rush I'm getting from my very limited jogging is more than making up for the fact that my lungs feel like they're on fire.

Congratulations, Graceful Goddess! That is a big accomplishment. I am not really a jogger or a runner yet. I'm doing interval training on the treadmill, and I alternate brisk walking with jogging and running. Kills my lungs, too!

Keep up the great work!

i'm new to this wonderful weblog! i find it so encouraging to see what all you ladies are up to. keep up the good work, and keep posting your successes!

yesterday - 45 minutes on my Lateral Thigh Trainer (great little under $100 item, perfect for too-lazy-to-go-to-the-gym days).

today - 35 minutes at the gym - Elliptical Trainer + assisted pull-ups and assisted dips (-100 lbs each, 3 sets of 10 reps each).
