Yes Soozie, I had a bio too, but it was all about my ex husband so we deleted it and burned it.

I need to make a new one....

We saw The Elf this weekend. Funny! Will Farrell was perfect for that part.

Suzanne - Whatever!

Wheeeeee! Just finished watching Bulletproof Monk! Fun, fun, fun! I love martial arts films That Chow Yun Fat is a babe too!

Also watched The Italian Job - okay but glad I waited to rent it rather than see it at the theatre, and T3 -which was pretty good but not as good as the first one.

Chris-

We also watched part of the Indiana Jones box set this weekend....Raiders of the Lost Ark and Temple of Doom - nice to revisit a couple of old favorites.

And after going to 12 different stores I finally found the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre Special Edition with Limited Edition cover for my hubby.....and it was on sale!

I haven't been to the movies in over 10 years and my hubby in over 13 years, but during our Christmas vacation we went to see "Return of the King" Lord of the Rings III, we sat there for 3 and 1/2 hours our ***' were numb. But the movie was FANTASTIC and worth every second in the theater.

Did you know one man can eat 3 boxes of goobers, 1 box of raisinetts and 1/2 box of popcorn in that time, and get this, he weighs 145 lbs (%&@#%)&#!!!!!!!!

Anyway, the movie was wonderful.

Oh I'm glad this thread started back up! I have been thinking about it and was going to go see where it disappeared to.

We saw Peter Pan today. Nice movie, but not quite what I expected.

Saw Love Actually, it was wonderful. I wanted to go back with Suzanne, but it went off. Sorta like a Christmas-British Big Chill vibe. Many different stories going round, connecting each in their own way. I felt warm and fuzzy when I left the theater! I don't know why it left so soon, they still have Bad Santa!

Somethings Gotta Give was fun, and I'm glad I didn't bring Cody cos there was a bit of nudity. PG-13 shows nudity now! Just a flash, but still too much for an 11 year old. I guess that is why the 13 is there, DUH.

Paycheck was ok, would have been better if I hadn't been thinking of the Matt Damon- Bourne Identity connection.
Oh yeah, and the whole Bennifer thing. Uma was really good.

That's all of the top of my head!

OH YEAH. Don Juan DeMarco. Whew.

Went to see Cold Mountain this weekend. It deserves the many nominations it is getting... very well made, beautifully acted... but not exactly an uplifting movie. And Renee Zellwegger deserves an Academy Award for best supporting actress... she did an amazing job.

I went and saw Big Fish over the weekend and I have to say it's pretty amazing. Of course, I adore Tim Burton, but this was on a whole new level. Definitely his best work to date and you'll leave the theater soooooooooooo smiley!

Star, what kind of 'brief nudity' was in that film, do you remember? I don't know if my 10 and 11/12ths year old son should see it or not - he can handle a butt flying by the screen, (never heard a peep in The Hulk) but he's too young for any boobs flying around!

Saw Calendar Girls today. Fun!!!
