Congrats on the walk! I didn't have time to do the treadmill today... I was on the road taking various family members to doctors all day! Tonight I walked 30 minutes in the park. I usually do 45 on the treadmill, but there were some HILLS! Oh my, I thought my legs would fall off.

Just had a great workout at the Y. Weights and cardio.
Going to have a little lie down with my book and my pistachios.

I didn't walk tonight. I stupidly wore heels to work, and I was on my feet for 11 hours. The pads of my feet are wincing, and I can't put them through the treadmill tonight. I miss it. I must be getting ill!

Walked for about 25 minutes on Saturday am and then spent most of the afternoon walking around an open air market picking up veggies and other ingredients for my menu for the week. My calves hurt from walking
So I did get some exercise in on the weekend

I walked 65 minutes today and yesterday on the treadmill. WOW, my hips hurt bad! I didn't know walking would cause the pain in that one spot. I guess it is either muscles, or an aneurism, or a tumor. I'll cross my fingers on the muscles!

Well, I'm back on the workout wagon.... but I went this morning to go run up at school and the freaking football team (all 80 of them) was up there and took over the entire place! So I'm gonna go strap on my skates and rollerblade for a while, maybe get some weights in later.

I walked 20 minutes to dance class - actually I think I made it in 15 due to the sever wind gusts blowing me up the street
and then belly danced for an hour and a half
Oy- my abs hurt!

My exercise has sucked lately! The last few days have been working and running errands, non stop. I just don't want to exercise at 9-10 pm, I'll never get to sleep. I'm making some purchases on Amazon though for something new to try. I have been thinking about mat pilates, or waiting for the new Taebo that comes out on Oct 7th. Anybody have any suggestions?
I have WATP and I don't like it.

Was out dancing at a club this weekend and I walked all over ****'s half acre in Montreal yesterday - or is that "J'ai marchè le moitiè d'un kilometre de l'enfer" - mais oui!

Jennifer - I got the Gaiam Beginning Pilates Mat Workout with Ana Cabran
It's a good way to begin Pilates, and is a lot about stretching and controlling the abdominal muscles, which is, of course, the challenge of my life. They say, do the workout 10 X and you'll begin to feel different, 20 X and you'll see a difference, 30X, and others will see the difference.
I've only done it 7 times, and I feel a difference, and can actually see a little improvement, and besides, I'm getting better at the moves on the tape (I'm totally inept at only one, and that's me, not what we're being asked to do)
The other thing you might want to consider is Rodney Yee's AM Yoga, which I really like to do before I go to bed! It's only 20 minutes, but my mind is clear when I'm done.
