got up early before classes this morning and went for a great walk. the leaves are really starting to change quickly, it's still so nice during the days but nights are getting into the low 40's...winter's coming! also got to see some white tail deer on my walk this morning, deer fascinate me- never really saw on till I moved here, weird thing about alaska no deer in the interior?!?!?

My job is quite active. I work in a library and so I'm constantly--for four hour shifts--walking, bending, squatting, and lifting books (many quite heavy). Does this count as exercise?
Today when I got home from work, I did some soothing yoga stretches and two complete Sun Salutations.
Those yoga stretches are so healing! I'm not even sore or stiff anymore, which is usually the case after working.

Lesbia, we did Sun Salutations at yoga last night. And something else... can't remember the name. But my stomach muscles are KILLING me!

Mauvais, I wish I could half way dance, that would be exercise for me! I would LOVE to dance! I have no rhythm! Cody had a disco in his room last week, and the poor thing didn't have anybody to invite but his parents, and I wouldn't even go in his room and dance until Rob was finished, I faked stomach cramps and stayed in the bathroom! I went in then, and we danced to his disco ball. I knew I sucked, but Cody just smiled and told me what a good dancer I was. Only in a child's eyes! I can't do any dance. Slow, fast, or dirty. Ok, dirty. But that isn't really dancing.
I did walk for 45 minutes though!

I love dancing too, and it was my exercise of choice before I got these horribly painful heel spurs in BOTH of my feet. Now, I have to wear Birks all of the darn time. And no pounding on my feet. I'm thinking this is results from all of the aerobics and jogging that I did in my early twenties. Sigh.
Today after work I did more yoga stretches and salutations. Not bad!

made it to step tonight, it was fun! I hadn't been in several months and I looked like such a fool, but I was laughing the whole time, the instructor must of thought I was nuts- she even asked me if I had ever taken step before. Like being corrdinated is a prerec. or something at the club?!?!? I had a great time and it was a nice change and some comic relief!

Sunseeker- If you don't have some fun while exercising then what's the point. Some people take the stuff too seriously
I did about 2 hours of walking yesterday

Yes, I am actually posting on this thread.
I borrowed my sister's yoga tape. It is 2 about 20 minute sessions. I went through one, and it seemed pretty quick. I liked it except the "plank" pose which I can't hold for very long. I could actually see me doing this on a regular basis.
This tape was by "Yoga Zone". Does anyone have any other suggestions on good yoga tapes?
