Good Morning Ladies,

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend.

We are heading out of town to visit my son and his fiance. They just bought a house so we are anxious to see it and them.
Only drawback is the house is directly across the street from my ex-husband and his wife (olive oil)
This will be a challenge.
Not sure if we will stay the night or drive home late this evening.

This weekend is my last hurrah before beginning my weight loss journey. I'm beginning to feel like Bill Murray in Groudhog day ... keep ending up at the same spot doing this over and over.

Well, I guess it's time to finish my coffee and think about getting ready to go.

see you all later,

Robin

Hey Rowan!

I guess I am not the only night owl around here...or are we actually early birds?

I am so proud of myself....I went to an Italian restaurant and instead of ordering a huge meal of pasta or meat + pasta I ordered an anti-pasto plate that had salad, thinly sliced mortadella, prosciutto ham, and sopresseto ham, grated mozzarella cheese, artichoke hearts and a slice of melon -delicious

I also skipped the bread basket and I had italian dressing on the side and only used 1/2 of it! Yay! I am trying to do WW low carb but it was really difficult not to cave in and have pasta or gourmet pizza.

Thanks LadyOnFire! My friends all had lasagna, canneloni or pasta with cream sauce which they scarfed down and it took me 45 minutes to eat my dinner - surprisingly I felt really full.

I have a tough time on weekends because we ususally eat out with friends and it is tough to my wise food choices in a restaurant.

Hey Girls,
Computer leaving for repair...I'm shutting down right now...well, as soon as I log out of here. I'll check in from work or from my sister's house...see ya when I'm back online.
Love, Soozie

Welcome Robin!

Mauvaisroux -- Good for you. Can you imagine going an entire lifetime without eating out with your friends? Better to learn how to manage it than try to live without it forever! I did the same thing tonight. I ate half of the restaurant portions, instead of the whole thing.

Just a quick post this morning before I leave for work......

Want to report my weight loss. I didn't weigh last week due to TOM, but stepped on the scale this morning, and I'm happy to report that I'm down 3.5 pounds in the last two weeks, from 187 to 183.5! I had been kind of stuck for a couple of weeks, and decided that I needed to really pay attention to portion sizes as I was really stuffing my face, and I guess it paid off!! Not to mention the motivation of the Halloween Challenge!! So I've now lost 17 pounds in 8 weeks.

Also took my measurements this morning (a hateful task, those numbers scare me!) I've lost 2 inches in my bust, 3 in my waist, and 2 in my hips since starting SBD in July!!

Have a great Monday chicks!! I'm off to work.

I've gained 3 pounds. Can I blame that on you, Twodog?
