Well, it looks like my friend's husband has lost most of his sight. The doctors think it may be permanent. *sigh*

Thank you all for the extra thoughts/vibes/prayers.

Thanks Mauvais.

It is unfortunate, but I think he is dealing with it well.

there is a chance he may get it back, but it isn't looking good.

Oh Squeak... I'm so sorry. That would be one of my worst nightmares... never being able to read again.
I hope he'll have lots of support to get him through this.

Squeak, how is your friend's husband doing?
And Den, how is your old neighbour doing?

If I may be so bold to ask... Dad is going into the hospital today and is having his operation tomorrow. I'll take anything you're offering. Hail Marys, candles, good vibes... I'll take it all.
Been up half the night tossing and turning. I'm going over to Mom and Dad's this morning... back later, darlings... many thanks...

If you may be so bold???? Of course you can ask Ellis. There will be a huge amount of hugs, vibes, and thoughts for you and your dad coming from this way.

And my friend's husband is doing ok. He has lost most of his sight, but is out of the hospital, and in a relatively good mood. Thanks for asking.
