Sugar - My weekend was pretty rockin' alright I used to have to get up at 5:00 AM for my old job. Icky. And I used to stay up until all hours of the night. It was like I would make up for it on the weekends. Still didn't really like doing that, though.
Ryeb - The series already started. I just didn't want to watch it before reading the book. I'm that way... I like reading the book before watching the show/movie. (Maybe because I get to be all nitpicky that way ) I'm trying to remember about True Blood... I think that one usually starts in the summer, but I don't ever watch it until the very end so I can marathon it. Gosh I love that show, it allows me to indulge in that trampy vampire love. D'awww.... sent you a song <3 What a sweetie! ^^
So. Good news. I MADE MY 5% GOAL! *proud* First mini-goal accomplished. I feel great about it and am looking forward to my next mini-goal.
Staying on plan really helps Who would've thought?
See everyone later!

I have dark blue and purple walls. I'm just making everything contrast with it by making everything else be either white or silver. It's quite a task, but worth it.

Hiya everyone!
3trip - That sounds very gorgeous with the light accents
Bluenach - How're things going?
Sugar - Did someone say cheesy? This thread definitely puts a smile on my face, too.
So... goals for today. Stay awake until a normal bedtime. Get in my minimum exercise needed, while not pushing myself too hard so I don't actually hurt my sore thighs. I might do more yoga and less walking (less pounding on my legs).
It was thundering here a little bit... looks like it might be a darker/rainy day.
Ugh...you guys... just yesterday my phone was acting up like a toddler and it reset itself....and...ALL MY CONTACTS WERE GONE! I lost all my phone numbers, addresses, texts, calendar appointments... everything. *sobs and hangs head*
Actually... part of me is glad, because I had a few contacts in there I should've cleared out a long time ago... but still! So I started the long process of trying to contact people through other means to get their numbers back.
I really do rely on my phone a lot... :/
Hope you're all doing super well!

SugarComa, I'm not wiccan, actually an atheist. I just really enjoy the religion itself and the art that comes with it. I actually have the three moons tattooed on my back with the maiden, mother, and crone in the full moon. The left crescent is a window into spring and the right is a window into fall. It's not done yet, but it will be in September.

Hey ladies I have been off from work the past couple of days, and I don't have a computer at home.... so here I am, on my Monday
Lovely- Congratulations on your 5% loss!! That is awesome!! Keep it up! I bet the more you meet the goals, the easier the next one will come. I love that trampy vampire love stuff too. That show is cheesy, but I am addicted. That just made me think of the song by Saving Abel. "Addicted" Good song to have stuck in my head.
Sugar- It is nice! I feel like I am in a disney movie, well minus the obnoxious singing animals every where. lol Don't feel bad about feeling cheesy, this is now my first "stop" when I log in! I am so glad to making buddies on here, even if they are virtual
How are you today Blue?

Hiya folks ^^
3trip - I love pagan art, too. I might be an atheist, but religious art really can be quite beautiful and symbolic.
Ryeb - Hope work is going well (I used to spend a lot of time at work on 3FC. Have it up in the background and kind of check it throughout the day when I needed a boost. )
Well... let's see. Still going strong. Getting my sleep back in order. I did some yoga and walking today. My thighs are feeling better, so I just did "normal" instead of pushing it.
Now I'm ... randomly clicking around through Celtic Woman songs and building random playlists... lol Gonna be a lazy Saturday.
Have a good one, guys ^^

I am at work right now, and really wish I could be home. The man came down to visit me, so he is stuck waiting for me to get off from work. =/ I feel like this whole site has been moving a little slow lately though I wished that it would be a little more active lol
I didn't work out today, I decided the man needed me more than the gym did lol I did go 5 times this week pretty hard, so no regrets. Good job on doing something, even if you say it was just "normal" I would love to get more involved with yoga
Everyone have a nice day

Yay! Its been 20 days I get to use a sig!
I like Pagan art as well It is usually very beautiful. I have a friend who is studying art and theology in school and his art is very beautiful because he uses a lot of pagan style.
This is a drawing I did of my mother, grandmother and myself.

Hey guys! ^^
Ryeb - Hope you got to spend some quality time with the man
Sugar - What a great drawing Definitely a fan of that concept!
Well... another weekend has gone by. I stayed on plan the whole week. It's a little early, but I'm done with my daily points, so I'm chewing gum and drinking water to fend off any "munchy" cravings. I know I ate enough, so it's not true hunger if it comes along.
Tomorrow is weigh-in. I need to have some deep cleaning plans or something this week. It'd keep me nice and busy.
See ya all!

How did you weigh in go Lovely?
I totally bombed my diet this weekend! Booze, booze, and more booze, hamburgers and hot dog... I am a little upset with myself now, because I can already feel it today. I hit gym hard to try to burn some of those extra 4000 calories, but I doubt I made it. I had a good time at least lol
I had a wonderful time with the man, and look forward to seeing him again in like a day or so. Life is good here.

Hey Ryeb & Everyone!
Lost 2 pounds. Down 20lbs total now. Slowly, but surely making my way down.
Life's pretty good. Got my new book to read (A Game of Thrones). Thinking about ways to plan out my weeks a little better, but I've been exercising solidly and eating healthfully.
I dunno. It's just a good day.

Hi everyone new to the Alternachicks area of the site, but I've been lurking for a bit.
@Lovely - Ah! Game of Thrones!! I've been watching along with my boyfriend and I'm gonna start reading the series once the season finale airs next Sunday. True Blood is back the week after too, which is great I lost a little bit of interest in the last season of TB but I'm interested enough still to give this season a try.
@Ryeb - I'm coming off of a few days of vacation with plenty of booze and fatty foods, so I'll probably try to do a bit of exercise catch up myself this week. Funny you mention hot dogs - if you have a Trader Joe's in your area, I suggest trying their chicken hot dogs. I just discovered them a few days ago. They are a bit on the salty side, but they're one of the better alternatives and only 60 calories per dog I call that winning!

Hey Michi Welcome to the chatter!
I told myself I wouldn't start watching Game of Thrones until I read it. So I've just started it and am probably going to rush something fierce through it so I can watch the series! So excited for True Blood! :3 I do love me some occasional trashy romance.
Really happy to have you join the chat. Don't be a stranger. Drop by whenever you want! ^^
