I am happy and grateful that I am the person that I have become and that I have the chutzpah to do the things I do.

I was a very shy and insecure person growing up and only started to become self-confident after I left high school and struck out on my own.

I love being in my thirties!

I love a good workout when your stiff and sore, but you know why
I love smelling good food cooking and then eating it.
I love the feeling I get when I do something for my friends
I love listening to water, like water falls, fish tank, running a bath, waves splashing against the shore and the rocks
I love hearing a new song with a kicky beat
Or an old song with lots of meaning
And I love you guys
Virginia
More later!

I love getting older. The older I get, the more secure I feel in myself. (good one, Mauvais)
I love garlic. Especially a garlic sandwich on buttered toast.
I love coming home to a clean house after we've been away on holiday.
I love a dark and gloomy day when I need do nothing more but cozy up in bed. With a book. And a coffee.
I love watching "Bridge on the River Quai" with my DH in bed. We put it on when we want to be cozy and fall asleep. I must have watched it about 40 times, but I've only seen the ending once.
I love getting a joke in my email that makes me laugh aloud.

I love having a best girlfriend who makes me laugh so hard that tears come out my eyes and that when I am crying for real can make me laugh and see the lighter side of things

I am very grateful that I live in Canada, because if I had to eat the Thanksgiving dinners that you down-south girls are planning, I'd friggin' well blow up!
Jealous, but grateful.

I am happy when I see my friends and they make me laugh and smile, and sometimes, like today blush.
I like the smell of this new vanilla camimille tea I am trying out and its lovely mild flavour. Yummy! My belly is a little queasy today (no I am not pregnant), so I thought tea might be just what the doc ordered.
I love the peace and quiet here right now. 1:10 pm and kids are at school for another 2 hours almost.

I am grateful that our car passed the Ontario Emissions Test. Poor DH... he took the car to Canadian Tire this morning fearing the worst. The first thing he did was to lock his keys in the car with the engine still running. They charge him 20 bucks to open the door. Then the car failed the pre-test, which meant getting two new tires and an oil change. (both of which we were expecting anyhow)
I can't believe it passed! I'm VERY happy!

And I would like some of that vanilla chamomile tea please, Virginia. Yum!

We went around the table today saying things that we were grateful for. (12 year old son's idea.) I said "Paxil and my family." My Dad asked, "In that order?" I said, "Actually, I was GOING to say 'Each of which I need because of the other.' " Now you see were I got my obnoxious streak!!! I like to embarass my Mom by saying I got it from HER though!!!

YES!! Luckily my family AND DH's family all love that kind of humor!!! If anything starts getting tense, I can get obnoxious and it chills them all out!!

I think I've said this before, but I'm really grateful for my furnace. And electricity. Because it's running non-stop right now, and if I had to go outside and chop down a tree, I'd do myself in. brrrrrrrrrrr!!

I am so thankful for my friend Pam, who knows when I am down even when I try to hide it and works through whats bothering me. She is the greatest! I am very happy today.
Love the feeling I get while listening to classical music. Uplights my mood.
Love a good hard workout, where you are sweating you *ss off and sore as can be, but feels so good.
The sun is shining and that makes me happy.
I have a bit more shopping done and that releives me somewhat.
I love knowing I would be as happy at a wrestling event or the opera(which by the way have never gone to but just know I would be moved to tears).
Went to Handels Messiah years ago and I was so moved I cried. Music is so beautiful. Like poetry without the words.
