Well, it's been a rush rush week and I finally broke down and had a serving of garlic mashed potatos today. They were the first mashed potatos I've eaten in months and months and they were soooooo good! Back on the horse tomorrow for me, though. Don't want to undo all that I've done.
I hope everyones been doing good. Man, last week/weekend was tough for me. I went a little crazy with food and ate tons of junk I KNOW I shouldn't have ate. But I'm back on track again and weighed-in at 172.8 today.
Well ladies you know I weigh in on Friday and today I was down 3.4 lbs!!! I can start doing my Wii Fit again and I am forever out of the 300+ club!!!!! HIGH FIVE!!!! I am soooo excited and this week I ate at Busch Gardens, Publix and Five Guys, talk about control and still lose it, I need like 19 more lbs before Halloween and have already lost almost 14 lbs in 5 weeks!!! God is Good Good Luck everyone!!
I forgot to weigh in on Monday, so I'm going to have to wait until next Monday. I know I'm down a few pounds, though. Had a business lunch today at a 4-star restaurant that had a $20.10 prix fixe lunch that includes an app, entree, and dessert. I opted to order of the regular menu and skip dessert. Yay me.
I went shopping for a laptop yesterday and was in and out of many stores all day long. Me and DH were starving (had pineapple at 7:00am and by then it was 2:00) and since we both love the Olive Garden, that Italian restaurant chain, and hadn't been there since last December, we decided to have lunch there. I had the lunch portion of spagetti and meatballs and salad. I ate half of the spagetti b/c I filled up on two plates of salad. I should've stuck with the spagetti b/c the salad (with dressing) has 26 fat grams and 350 calories! Yikes, that's more than half of my alloted daily fat gram intake.
The pasta dish was 40 fat grams and 820 calories for a lunch portion, of which I only ate half. And the sodium was off the charts, girls!
I guess the moral of this story is that we won't be visiting O.G. until Christmas rolls around again, for I have no willpower and will order the spagetti and meatballs every time I go. But I really enjoyed the meal and it was a treat to have pasta and meat sauce, for a change, so no regrets.
Still making progress! Going out to eat with friends today. I think they have a really good spinach / grilled chicken salad where we're going. At any rate, I am determined to make a healthy choice. DH will be there & he's very supportive. I am blessed.
I am at 242 (its my TOM and have not had the best habits this week, so I should be happy I have stayed the same and not gone up.) Tomorrow is a new day...tomorrow is a new day. (repeat thirty times so I don't beat myself up)
I was at 174.0 this morning. Yesterday I had some BBQ with my family, so I kind of expected a gain. Back on track today and looking forward to downward movement on the scale tomorrow.
