Well Ginya, Ther ewould be less fat in the cereal instead of potato chips. But yeah there is a lot of sugar in some cereals. But you will burn that off.

One of the things I use to help my family with their chocolate cravings is lower fat sweets. York peppermint patties have only 3 g. fat and maybe 130 calories. Animal crackers are about the same. And sugar babies. It's better than having a snickers or chocolate chip cookies and keeps everyone from feeling depraved. We don't really have a chip problem, but we love popcorn. We use a cheese salt on it. It's much better than butter, calorie and fat wise. I have also switched to brown rice and they eat less of that.

Okay...
How about not buying the junk when you go to the grocery store. If it's not there in the house you don't think about it as much and it is not sitting in a cupboard calling your name.
This works particularly well in the winter when you are too lazy to get bundled up and traipse out to the store when it is freezing out. bbbbrrrrr!

hmmmmmmmmmm
take out the old prom pictures and be happy that you don't look nerdy anymore, but realize you felt better and sexier and your clothes fit you better back then? post it on the fridge? or am I just a masochist?
just thinking and tripping down memory lane

Too true, Mauvais. And how about this one... when you ARE in the grocery store, stock up on lots of good healthy snacks. We always pick up several big bags of baked chips to have during the week with low fat dip. Then we're less inclined to run to the corner store for the high fat ones when we feel "the urge".
Oh yeah... that prom one is good, Terri. Geepers, you should have seen my hair. But I was slim!

I loved the way I looked at my prom. I would love to look like that again. It is one of the few time I liked the way I looked. And I weighed less, but had no boobs. They didn't show up 'til college.

Yeah, but you're young, Squeak. My grad picture is almost 20 years old.
You're kidding... you didn't get breasts until college!? What did you do, have them installed?

Nope, no boobs until college. I had a little but not much at all. I started taking the pill in college and they like tripled in size. It was very strange.
The dress I wore I had to take the straps in because I didn't have enough up top. A few years ago I tried it on again. Not only did I take out the stitches to make the strap the original size, it wouldn't zip up the whole way.It would zip up until it got to my chest. We did manage to get it the rest of the way but I couldn't breathe, and they were popping out of the top too.

LMAO
Terri, When I seen your tip of digging out the old "prom" pictures, I miss read for a moment or maybe it was wishful thinking, because I thought it said "porn" pictures.
That is a good idea however, I recently was looking at mine and it sure was incentive to lose.

Virginia, have you been drinking? I've always been impressed with your grip on grammar. Until now.
Porn pictures. I don't even have a picture of myself in a bathing suit!

nope! no porn pictures here...........but there is a certain honeymoon video hidden in a drawer somewhere lol - with a funny label on it :
I wrote :
" Dear DD, in the event that mummy and daddy are no longer with us and you find this tape, please destroy it immediately - or else you will need to save your money for therapy, darling"
squeak - the same thing happened to a friend of mine in college - must be the hormones (?)
Actually, I just reread my earlier post - I have to say (blushing) that while I felt better back then physically - I feel sexier now at this point in my life - I guess with age? LOL hhmmm maybe the brain is the most important organ?

Never grocery shop when before supper. You spend more money and buy tons of junk food.
I may have looked great 20 years ago, but I sure have better orgasms now!
