Ska anybody?

  • Was just wondering if there were any ska fans around. Great workout music in my opinion, just great music in general.

Going to a show and skanking your butt off will surely burn lots of calories :P
  • I used to listen to ska a lot in the summertime. It's awesome for coping with the heat. (Not normally a summer person.) It's pretty much the last thing anyone would ever expect of me, including the person who got me into it. He was from Israel and I guess it's still pretty popular there. Anyway I like Madness, The Toasters, Inspector 7, The Selecter, aand... hm, guess it's been a while. I have just one song by SKA-P, It's definitely insane.
  • used to be a big ska fan when i was in high school and started college but when i moved to another state, all my cds were stolen and i kinda fell away from it. but in arizona The Aquabats were huge so i could hear them just bout anywhere/time! and i still skank AT ANY SHOW I'M NOT regardless of music type! its the funnest dancing style ever!!
  • love it! Dancehall Crashers has to be my all time fave
  • Love to love the ska!
  • I am absolutely in love with the Aquabats! I've known about them for..hmm, 14 years or so now. Been to so many of their concerts - love skankin'! They're so funny too.

My brother just made me an Aquabats track set with cues for Couch to 5K. Man, I am so excited! He's going to make me some for each week.

Save Ferris is pretty cool too. Love their version of Come on Eileen.

That is so awesome. I love the Aquabats as well. Some of my other favorite ska bands are the Pilfers, Streetlight Manifesto, and the Toasters.
