Alternachicks Solstice/Yule Challenge!
Hey dudes!
So here's the thread for our Winter Solstice Challenge updates and support. I'm thinking we'll keep Saturdays as check in day?
I know for me those last 2 pounds in the Samhain challenge were hard as hades to get rid of, so I gotta step this up. Good luck, chicas.

I'll have to start working out again. Oh the joys of lying on the couch reading a book for a few hours are over.

Okay, I haven't really done anything like this before but I think I'd like to take part in this one.
My current weight is 150 lbs / 68 kgs. By winter solstice I'd like to be at most 65 kgs / 143 lbs. This is the goal weight I set for myself when I started dieting. There is a good chance, though, that as soon as I am there I'd like to lose some more. I'll keep you tuned

I'm in! 120 pounds by solstice. I will update my (failed) Samhain challenge ticker with appropriate Winter/Yule imagery.

Count me in! I lost 4 lbs in the last challenge so I think I will put myself down for 5 for the Yule challenge.
I am also going to challenge myself to go to yoga at least once per week.

Rock on, mauvaisroux. I used to go do yoga twice a week. I felt so wonderful afterward. I'm with you on doing it at least once per week. I don't have a gym membership anymore, but I suppose I'll have to dig out my old yoga DVDs.

ollie27 ~ Thanks. I think it's starting to stick as my username for everything, hehe! :P
Put me down for 10lbs, so I'll be 217lbs.

i actually try to do yoga once a week, but it's not enough! with the weather my joints are frigging screaming lately and i know it would make me feel better, so yes, me too, on adding some more yoga to my life and to this challenge!

I weighed in and managed to gain 2 pounds. Uggg. I suppose the Halloween candy had finally paid it's price? Oh well, this just means I have to step up.
