I love fall too - my favorite season!

I've been away a lot too - very busy with work and birthdays, concerts, social events, etc. I have something to do every single weekend in October and then I plan on painting my hall in November and sprucing the house up for the yule festivities. I will sleep in January!

Our friends are coming over to play Rock Band 2 on Saturday -can't wait!

anita- i third the motion on the academic madness. too much reading. thankfully, i've had a two day break for rosh hashanah (one of the pluses about going to a [secular] jewish university is all the holidays we get off. trying to catch up, but all i want to do is exercise and cook, both activities i've had to unfortunately ignore of late.

mauvaisroux, i'm a tad bit jealous, my life consists of two places: campus and home. (NIN?!)

jan - i can relate. i'm questioning my calling as i go tens of thousands of more dollars in debt to earn an MA. i've paired it down, but have been steadily questioning for the past 5 years. just remember, you da man, jan.

it's been wet, cold and overcast here for a week now. on the plus side i started cooking all the things i love about fall. had cream of wheat for breakfast instead of cereal, made some lentil chili a couple of days ago, and aloo gobi last night for dinner which was very autumny. just got a huge squash at the sto' and made some vegan hot cocoa last night. i love all the food and drinks that are associated with this season!
