On Turkey day we're supposed to get rain

That means our snow will: become slush, ice or mud I'd rather keep our 3" of snow.

Nothing handy to take/eat with my cold-sinus pills with yesterday, so I ate German chocolate cake 4 times

It's a good thing that I don't count calories

What is happening to us? After completing 21 day's without sweets, this week I'm going crazy and eating way too many sweets and don't feel a bit good about it.

Thanks giving not here yet, but we've already celebrated a Korean Thanksgiving last Sat. at our Son's home, and our Grandson is having a second one this coming Saturday. We had a great time with family and am really looking forward to this weekend.

I used to have all the family here, but thank Goodness, our Son and family has taken over and have a home large enough to entertain us all.

Good morning ladies! Today is laundry and get ready for Thanksgiving day. Warming up here so hopefully I will get a chance to go for a trail drive with my horse. Won't be able to do it much longer because once hunting season starts, I stay out of the woods.

Yesterday:
B - oatmeal with blueberries
S - banana
L - beef noodle soup
S - grapes
D - pasties

cals-2005 (380), ex-step class at the Y. Those calorie totals look like a weekend! Note to self-be good today.

I am already giving myself pep talks on getting through the holiday without gaining weight. It is not going to be easy. Mostly I am concentrating on how much better I feel when I am a lighter weight. I think if I could just keep the indulging to one day-not today and not the day after Thanksgiving-then perhaps it would not be so bad.

Renee & Dee-I missed the memo about eating cake. LOL I love cake!

Dee-I remembered I do have a nail salve I enjoy. It is Beeswax Hand & Nail Salve by Savannah Bee company. I get it in Savannah but I have seen some of their products in other stores occasionally and I would guess it is available on the Internet.

Crazy calorie load yesterday. Crazy good dinner! It is going to be difficult not to eat the leftovers. I should just go shopping. If I stay away long enough perhaps the family will gobble it all up before I get back.

Renee-Hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful also!

Hello girls, I wrote a post before bedtime & I lost it when I clicked submit I hope your Thanksgiving day was wonderful, ours was & it surprised me when I synced my Charge @ night that my steps were pretty good. My family kept me moving during the day me getting +8000 steps. Except when I watched the Detroit Lions win the game playing the Philadelphia Eagles, we needed that win getting us up 5 games now.

Today I'm cyber shopping instead of standing in lines; but I sure could burn-up lots of calories store shopping that I ate yesterday, because I only wear my Charge around my ankle to b accurate w my steps... Girls I hope you'all find lots of deals Our biggest gift $ dent is buying the 4 kids gifts, w many electronics on their Christmas lists. Clothing is just as pricey for their smaller sizes as adult sizes. I hope cyber Monday has lots of deals I can use for gifts.

Tera, Thank you for the nail cream info, I'll look inline for it this weekend. I forgot to add to our food memo: try to eat only 2 slices of cheesecake daily & hide aLL your silverware on the day after Thanksgiving because it's impossible to eat potatoes & gravy, stuffing, desserts, etc. with your fingers

Renee, I hope that you had good temps to take your trail ride, I wish I was with you'all on it. It would take winning the lottery to get my horse w our health-income difficulties. I don't have any friends now that own horses & the cost to take a hours ride @ a stable is the cost of our grocery budget for a week.

Did anyone go see the current Hunger Games movie or any others?

Dee

Whoa... it's Saturday but w our long holiday weekend, yesterday felt like Saturday & today feels like waking up on Sunday
No plans as of this moment, Dh is making his pot of coffee. On Qvc last night I gave up & bought my own Christmas gift that I'm sharing w our guests. http://www.qvc.com/Keurig-K10-Personal-Coffee-Maker-w-36-K-Cup-Packs-&-Carousel.product.K42798.html?sc=K42798-SRCH&cm_sp=VIEWPOSITION-_-5-_-K42798&catentryImage=http://images.qvc.com/is/image/k/98/k42798.001?$uslarge$
A single cup coffee Keurig w 36 k-cups & carousel, first I ordered orchid then I went back online & changed it to bayberry green. I drink more tea than coffee but the coffee pods r yummy flavors & it includes cocoa & tea Now I can have a variety of drinks & our guest's aren't stuck drinking Dh's dark roast coffee. I'm ordering a stainless steel refillable k-cup from Amazon & buy a pack of vinyl k-cups @ Wal-mart for quick refills for guests. When I was trying to lose my 21# gain several yrs ago, I borrowed my friends Keurig & it was a very big factor in keeping my appetite satisfied, this special Qvc set is -$68 less than than when I compared it to Amazon yesterday.

Renee... My jeans were tight yesterday...too much salt probably. So 1# is nice for you You were BRAVE to hop on your scale the day after your Feast. We start our holiday events next Saturday night. Followed by 5 more in December.......

Tera... Let's trade our winter climates
