Default Challenge Is A Step Forward

Challenge is a step forward.
If it doesn't challenge you,
it doesn't change you
-Fred Devito

Whenever you are faced with an unusual situation you are in fact challenging yourself and abilities.
To go from a couch potato to a fitness fanatic is a big challenge and a huge step towards a healthier lifestyle.

Here are some couch potato exercises to get you started. You can do them during the commercial breaks rather than looking for or eating snacks:

Sunday: ran hills for 2 hours with hubby and dog ( hubby is a 'real' ultra runner) I walked the up hills, ran the flats and downs.
Sunday food
Breakfast: toast and almond butter ( pre run)
Post run. The last date and walnut scone
Lunch: rolls, salad and avocado
Supper: homemade curry ( mostly veges that need eating up, plus a butternut squash)

Monday.
Exercise. Walked 7 km. legs tired from hills.
Food, all was fine, I just ate too darn much of it. A day full of munchies. I also had parents evening at sons school. I made soup so I could have some on my return, and got back to find the family had eaten the lot. They though I had had mine before I went! Ended up with beans on toast instead!

Hope all is well with the rest of you.

I'm sorry for being MIA the last 2 weeks. I tripped over a large box in the dark in the garage & I hit the cement floor hard. Both hands, wrists, elbows, forearms, both knees bruised & swollen, plus my neck got whiplash. Nothing broken but it's been taking time to move normal w/o pains.

I'll b back this weekend when I can type more & am healed.

My Dh doesn't cook, he only defrosts freezer food, so he's been bringing home fast food daily after work the past 2 weeks... My jeans r snug now, so I will begin cooking again this weekend.

to Everyone.

bad cals-150, ex-body sculpt class at the Y.

Corrinna-I love how I feel when I exercise. If I don't I turn to jelly and my back aches!!!!

auto-Hate to tell you this but I think you lose the low fat advantage when you eat four!

The scale moved a bit lately but I don't usually consider it official until I see the same weight for a few days. It is helping me keep my bad cals number low.

Smile Where Do You Want To Go Tomorrow?

Where do you want to go tomorrow?

You can feel sore tomorrow or
You can feel sorry tomorrow.
You choose.

What you do today will set your feelings for tomorrow.
What is your choice?
What feeling do you prefer, the feeling of satisfaction or the feeling of disappointment?
It’s a decision you need to take today and not wait until tomorrow.
