Hi everyone
I turned 50 a few months ago. I need to lose about 30-35 lbs but I'm starting with focusing on a 20lb loss.
My starting weight was 156- my highest weight ever. I'm currently 149.6.
I haven't changed my ticker to reflect my higher weight because my September goal is to be 143 point something!

Welcome to the challenge InATizzy. I think I recognize you from the 140 thread. This is a great group. We weigh-in on Saturdays but check in during the week too. Congrats on the weight you've already lost. I'm concentrating five pound increments.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. I thought I was going to be below 149 today but I wasn't. I really feel lighter! Lol. I can feel my stomach shrinking.
No plans for today. I was so busy yesterday, that I might just watch tv all day today.

Today was a good day overall. Willpower still in tact. Yeah! I hope it continues.

Sitting around doing nothing but watching TV sounds like a wonderful break. Only I would be so tempted to eat lots of food at the same time. Here is something I do to help me during those periods when I am watching TV. I put a pair of 3lb dumbbells on the coffee table just to urge me to do something different with my hands when I think I need food. They can be fun to lift during commercials. That keeps me from running to the kitchen for treats most of the time.

Hi everyone! - Missed weigh-in on Saturday but weighed this morning and am down 1 lb.

Inatizzy

Corinna - Good trick with the dumbells, I will have to try that (if I ever get the chance to sit and watch TV again!)

Renee - Staying the same is OK - Onward from here

Lizzie - I was up and down all week too, and I also will take my 1 lb

It has been a rough week for me. My emotions are all over the place and that makes it hard to focus on the important stuff. I was on 5 days off at work and I was running around trying to get everything done for me and everyone else, and feeling pulled in 4 directions at once.
I think I just need to slow down and breathe once in a while.

I am wishing a good week for everyone!

Renee - Awesome loss!! I love horse shows, used to show when I was young.

I am down 3 lbs.
My temperament has improved with the weather, so this week has been a much better week for me.
