Is that photo for real? That is really something. I remember seeing Kitty Carlisle on one of the morning shows. She was 92 at the time and demonstrating some very advanced pilates mat moves. I couldn't believe it - she was skinny too. I always thought I'd stay the same but have gained a lot for me and my frame.

Corinna - hang in there We all appreciate your encouragement and support. Remember - progress not perfection, and you have quite a lot of progress under your belt. I smile for you every time I see your stats. You're so active too so kudos for that - it's excellent. My feet are feeling better now so I think I'll be able to move my butt more - no more excuses


Lakeview - I do that isolation thing too - try to come and post!

I've always both loved and resented the "choose your hard" quote

On one hand it makes absolute sense, but I have to admit that there have been times in my life where choosing overweight didn't seem all that hard. In fact, up until about 5 years ago, it was the path of least resistance and easily rationalized (if ONLY in my head!)

I'd like to think I now know better, but boy do I have my moments...

NO, I think you must have seen that date on my ticker. That is just how the ticker works ... it puts a future date about a month after your last update.

Start 1/20 @223.1# & Target = 198.1
August 2 = 209.6 = -13.5
Aug 10 = 209.1 = -14
8/17 = 208.7 = -14.4
8/23 = 208.3 = -14.8
8/29 = 207.9 = -15.2

Hi everyone,
Missed weigh-in on Saturday - We went out of town last week for a mini vacation, so weighed this morning and am down 2.8 lbs

Corinna - It seems to be an emotional time of year for a lot of people right now - hang in there

Renee and Aida - Great job on continued losses

Hey guys - maintaining is better than a gain.

I was as low as 142 this week and then up and stayed at 145 for a bit so I changed my stats. Unfortunately, though, up one pound today but still down from 147 so I'll take it!

How is everyone else doing?
