Default Hello, This Looks Like A Fun Group

Hello, I've been surfing around looking for a group to join and this looks like a fun bunch of people. Just my kind!

I'm Robin and I'm ready to lose some weight. I have had all kinds of excuses for not really trying.....stopped smoking (12 years ago...so that shouldn't be a reason now, right?)...... Divorced (4 years ago....so I shouldn't use that to stuff my face now, right?).... Moved in with my Mom to help her out(over a year ago....so??, right?).

So here I am ready to take on this new chapter and get healthy. I've decided not to do a "diet", but am going to eat three meals a day, cut out snacks, sodas, cream & sugar in my coffee and walk an hour a day. How does that sound? I'm not much into counting calories so I figure that I should be able to lose just by cutting out all my sweet snacks that I love, right? Robin

Good for you wanting to make some changes. sounds like you are on the right pat, with cutting out the junk food and eating healthier. Walking will help with the weight loss. I wish you the best.
