Thank you Renee. I should be losing more, somewhere between 2-3 pounds a week. There must be some hidden snacking somewhere that I need to identify. Usually what I have is one of the small packs of 6 saltines which is probably the worst thing I could have anyway. I'm on high blood pressure medicine too. Sometimes the thought of eating more raw carrots just nauseates me.

Yeah Darius and Deelou! Good job on losing some weight this week. :dancer:

My weigh-in today is 138 so I am down 3 lbs. I am so happy. I am hoping there will be more from our group this week who are also moving in the right direction.

Renee that's a terrific loss!

Thanks Corinna and Darius. I really paid attention to my diet and made some healthy choices....

Down 1

Down 1 lb. Made the 20 lb loss mark!

I would rather see 2 lbs a week - so must work harder.

Congrats to those of you who have lost. Lest keep this train moving......

It is getting too depressing so I think I will be leaving or not posting...I really am following and eating just a bit less than MFP suggests and tho I was finally down a few days ago....alas...back up to zero today....good luck and congrats to those who have figured out what works for them....

Hi Deelou; please don't leave. The scale just does that. You know a gallon of water weighs 8 lb; I can go up 2 pounds and down 3 overnight just based on water alone. Water weighs so much that it masks the tiny advances we make. I'm not losing as fast as I would like which tells me that I am still eating too much somewhere, but it's almost impossible and disheartening to see what is happening daily...just my observations....anyway hang in there.:p

teati 01-11-2014 06:30 PM

I agree

Hi Deelou, I agree with darius. I'm on a slow boat also. And may I say - the fewer pounds you have to lose - the longer it takes. I don't think that is scientific - it just seems to be true.

Deelou 01-11-2014 08:22 PM

Thanks, but after 6 years of staying below 1400 c a day, trying low fat, low carb, plain counting calories, eating healthier, intermittent fasting...I think my thyroid condition has just messed me up...I have tried alternating 900 days with 1400 days,, you name It unless it is a crazy diet I have tried...still just up and down 2-4 pounds..really tried this past October or whenever I hopped on here. And still nothing....
