I'm new here also. Everyone is sooo encouraging & that's what I need to stay @ my goal.
Stupid weird cold winter; too nasty to b out & about & burn-up cals/carbs on the weekend, so we've been watching lots of TV not being active. Saturday night is date night & there was a 'pizza special'
sooo hard for me to avoid. That 3rd slice just
popped into my mouth when I wasn't looking
then I drank 2 ice tea's I was so thirsty from the salty cheese & I had a Huge belly-ache/sick from eating so much. My guy ate 6 slices w 2 beers. My jeans felt snug the next day from all that salt/water, stupid pizza
I should've drank a glass of wine (at least wine has antioxidants) w 3 cookies instead, for my snack
'My lesson I learned', just say 'No to more than 1 slice of pizza', I'm a 1 slice girl now.
A nutritionist on TV was asked whats healthier, 'Hershey kisses
or peanut butter m&m's'
her answer was "eat the kisses, because we'll eat fewer because we have to unwrap each kiss".
