Hi I am new
Hi I didn't see a place to introduce my self for the 50+. I am 62 and this group seems very nice. I have arthritis so exercise is an issue. I can do some so I am not completely beat . Happy to have discovered this site!

Hi Daylily. Welcome to the 50+forum. Come and join the chat in the January Golden Girls, second part. You'll fit right in as we have a variety of health issues. I'm your neighbour just across the gulf in Newfoundland.

Hi! I am new here too, and am not sure where to post/meet people. I am 53 and I live in Michigan. I am in my second week of Optifast, so I will be most interested in tips on exercise, motivation, etc. - not food! for the next 10 and 1/2 weeks.
I hope to check in here daily - I'm not even sure how I will know if anyone responds......hopefully I'll catch on.

Oldie but newbie
Hi all I joined a group in '07' and think I lost myself to "my family's busy lifestyle" but now need to take time to get myself back together. I am hopeful that I will be able to lose weight with the support of others in the same boat I am in. Anyways it's great to be back.

Hi, I am another new member. This is the first time in a long time that I am taking care of "me" instead of children, aging parents and students. Now it is time to feel better. Been on a protein diet and I am feeling so much better. Having the extra energy is soooo great. It will hopefully motivate me to keep going. Glad to find a forum for my age group (69).

I am also new so not sure where to post. Am 63..and a compulsive overeater.
If it's not sweets or carbs than it's portion control and if I've got all under control is is late night binging. I am as healthy as I've every been..feel good, good energy and happy life. I just want to get rid of this bulge in my abdomen. Now using First Line Therapy for abdominal obesity. Sometimes I'm into it and other times I'm not. Need a place to vent..esp. at night.
