Lynn- I don't think our bikes have a 0, think the lowest is 1. Seven was a tiny bit hard for me, I like to go fast for brief spurts and I couldn't keep that up very long. I wonder though if sometimes it's the bike...there is one bike that I have used at 10 and it wasn't even that hard. I think there must have been something wrong with it. I am trying to gradually move up in number on both the bike and treadmill.
