Hi Debbie, good to see you. I am turning 57 next week. My first goal is 10% of my body weight, (again). I weigh 266, so that is 26 pounds, and I am shooting for 45-50 pounds off by the end of June. (I am using weight watchers online with a strong limit on white flour and sugar)

Good luck.

Welcome to our forum! A new year is just about here, and it brings with it new hope for a new beginning.

Debbie and Bunti - yay for you both, taking the steps and setting goals.

Debbie - which method/program are you following?

Bunti - happy birthday a little early!

Dangerous Curves - both counting calories and Weight Watchers are good programs. In a nutshell, the first is uncomplicated and free, and the second gives accountability, and focuses on healthy eating. Whichever way you go, we will support and encourage you.

Thank You kindly! Im using a low carb, high protein diet, where i use a daily food log. This works for me.

Good luck everyone.

Good for you Debbie! Just the right time to start getting into a new you. You've taken the first step and now the second and most difficult task is to stick to it whatever diet or method you decide on.
I am doing the OLD WW but incorporating calorie and carbs count due to being diabetic.
DEEP BREATH DEBBIE AND GO FOR IT!!

All the very best for your endeavours and don't forget to keep posting....
