Golden Girls Get-Together Survey
Hi Golden Girls,
Please respond to the following questions -
1) Are you interested in getting together in the future?
2) If yes to #1, where would you prefer to meet? (East coast, West coast, Middle of the country).
3) Las Vegas often has good rates. Would you be interested in meeting there?
4) Would you be interested in a cruise?

2) If yes to #1, where would you prefer to meet? (East coast, West coast, Middle of the country). No real preference; if we decide early enough, we can book early and get decent rates to just about anywhere.
3) Las Vegas often has good rates. Would you be interested in meeting there? Sure
4) Would you be interested in a cruise? Maybe. Sorta. Oh, heck. Sure!

2) don't really care... you know, I've always wanted to do Mackinaw Island in
December!

1) Are you interested in getting together in the future? I think that would be really cool ~ even though we have never met in person, we have shared with each other and it feels like we already know each other.

I know a few years back when I was posting on the 100# club area, they talked about doing that. Many were interested, and they actually did get together ~ only a few, maybe 6 finally did it, but they had a wonderful time together ~ memories for a lifetime 
For me right now ~ as much as I would like to, I don't think it is going to be possible. I guess I will have to live vicariously through you all. I hope you all do get to do it ~ that would be awesome.

And with all that said I think it would be lots of fun but don't know how likely it would happen. Especially now with the economy being the way it is, I don't know how many could really afford to make this. I know I would find it kind of tough to try to fit in financially.

You're right about the finances, Karen... my heart kind of clutched at the idea. However, however!, if we know well enough in advance, we can start saving AND we could probably get a good deal somewhere if we had sufficient commitment and advance time. It would just be so much FUN!!
