Default President's Fitness Challenge
My DD just told me about the President's fitness challenge. Go to "fitness.gov"

You sign up & keep track of your exercise. When you hit a certain amount, you get a medal.

There are two types of challenges - 1 for folks who do NOT usually exercise & 1 for folks who are already active.

I WANT my medal!

And it's for adults??? I know my elementary school did something like that a looooooong time ago).

Stepping out of my 30-somethings group to thank you for this thread!

How cool!

I just signed up and my 10 year old is "thinking about it". LOL! I really hope he does it with me. I want my award too! I'm going for "Champions" which means I can get bronze, then silver, then GOLD! I want a gold medal!

I wonder if there is a way that we can start a 3FC group for President Challengers?

I'm pretty sure we could start a group for 3FC challengers, someone just has to do it, and post the link for people to join. I guess I'd be willing to do that if people want, if I can remember how it's done.

I recently earned my Gold Award there... though I was having trouble with the shopping site so I couldn't get on to buy my medal. I will though, at some point, because I also never bought anything for my Silver Award, though I got a T-shirt when I got my bronze!

I first did the Active Lifestyle Challenge and bought myself a pin for that award. It is pinned to my favorite hat!

The funny bit is I thought I would be done with the President's Challenge site when I earned the Gold, but no, up popped a window telling me that now I could next earn the Platinum Award! Which I think is like about a million points! At my age, it could take the rest of my life, literally, to do it. But I'm game!
