    Eat a piece of frozen mango when I feel hungry. Have 14 pieces when I awaken in the morning.

    4 : 227 Noticed in the mirror yesterday that my blouses are starting to hang. I'm almost afraid to say it, but snacking, instead of a three course meal, every two to three hours has really made this weight loss easier. I actually enjoy it.
    5 : 226 exercising every three hours seems to be working. It's not hurting.
    6 : 226 Continue doing what I'm doing
    7 : 227 Keep doing what I'm doing
    8 : 227 Eat one (7 calories) or two pieces of frozen mango between 9pm and midnight if I'm hungry. Quickly takes away any hunger.

  • Here I am . . . will simplify this month so I don't gobble up so much space . . . don't yet know what I'll track though.

    Okay -- I'm going to track the same stuff as last month; just going to arrange it differently so it takes up less room. Once again, I'll be aiming for an average of around 1400 Net Calories (Carbs - Fibre) and a 40/30/30 (Carb/Fat/Protein) split of those calories.

  • I fell off the wagon for the past 4-5 months and gained 4-5 pounds. I knew I was in trouble last Friday night when I ate an entire (thin crust) 10" pizza!!!!! Here goes:

    4/1: 1323 calories and 20 minute (3.5 mph) walk
    4/2: 1164 calories and 17 minute (4.0 mph) walk and 8 minute (5.0 mph) jog
    4/3: 1369 calories and 10 minute (3.5 mph) walk
    4/4: 1384 calories and 17 minute walk and 8 minute jog
    4/5: 1343 calories and 35 minute walk (3.5-4.0 mph) walk
    4/6: 1375 calories and 17 minute walk and 8 minute jog

  • Here's my place. I didn't do well in March, ended up gaining 1/2 lb. We ate out way too much. We are now home and I hope to do better this month. One good thing is that I tried on some old jeans (you know the skinny ones you keep just in case!) and I was able to fit several of them! So that made me feel better. I will track my weight, calories, carb servings, exercise and blood sugar.
    March 31st weight was 165.5.

    4/1/09 164 lbs (now why didn't that show up yesterday!), bs high, 1620 calories and 16 carb servings (too high). No exercise but busy at home and shopping.
    4/2/09 165 (very tired of this number!), bs high, bad eating day. Don't know what's wrong with me!
    4/3/09 167 (well this is even worse!), 1255 calories, about 11 carb servings, bs good. out of town, eating out so think I did pretty well.
    4/4/09 166, bs high, 1466 calories, 10 carb servings, no intentional exercise.
    4/5/09 165, bs high, 1564 clories, 11 carb servings, only exercise was shopping.
    4/6/09 164 (finally!), bad eating day
    4/7/09 165, bs little high, 1404 calories, 11 carb servings, only exercise was light housework.
    4/8/09 164.5, bs high then later good, 1510 calories, 13 carb servings, only exercise was light housework.
    4/9/09 163.5 (yea!), bs good, 1294 calories, 12 carb servings. stair climbing and slow walking.

    4/12/09 164, ate lunch out and est 1964 calories today, my food diary says only 8 carb servings but I'm sure it was more like 10 or 11 at least.

    4/15/09 162.5, 1640 calories, 10 carb servings, bs high.
    4/16/09 162.5 Doctor appt. He was pleased with my 4 lb weightloss (since last visit in Dec) A1C was 6.7, not bad but it is rising. Doc gave me a prescription for med, but I told him I want to continue to try 1-3 more months to see if I can get control before I give in and make med. calories today were 1517 and carb servings 13. bs high and then later good. Trying to be as careful about fat as the carbs since they play a role in insulin resistance.

    4/19/09 162 (yea!), bs high then later good, 1439 calories, 12 carb servings. My dh said he is beginning to notice my weight-loss!
    4/20/09 161.5 (yea!!), bs high then later good, little mall walking, 30 min stretch and 40 min cardio, 1384 calories, 12 carb servings.
    4/21/09 162, bs high then good later, 1336 calories, 11 carb servings. No exercise except shopping.
    4/22/09 162.5, bs high then low before lunch, 30 min stretch, 40 min cardio, 1065 calories, 12 carb servings.
    4/23/09 163, bs high then good later, 40 min yoga stretch, 40 min cardio,
    1675 calories, 11 carb servings (corrected).
    4/24/09 162.5, bs high, 1720 calories (dinner out!), 10 carb servings.
    4/25/09 162, I've had to return two orders for clothes that were too big! bs very good, 1531 calories, 11 carb servings.
    4/26/09 162, bs slightly high but best it's been in am for a long time, this afternoon it was very good, 1611 calories, 14 carb servings. Too much too early in the day...hope I can keep from eating tonight! edited 4/27 ended up eating about 100 more before bed.
    4/27/09 161! bs good but after I had 4 carbs for dinner, it was high. 1463 calories, 12 carb servings. No exercise
    4/28/09, 162.5? bs high then later very good, 1355 calories, 12 carb servings,
    no exercise.
    4/29/09 162, bs high, 1341 calories and 13 carb servings. Had too many carbs at dinner..have to watch my food combinations. Glad going to church tonight and will not eat when I get home. edited: ended up eating a slice of zuchinni bread before bed. also forgot to mention I did exercise...30 min stretch, 40 min cardio classes.
    4/30/09 162, bs little high but later good, 30 min yoga stretch, 40 min cardio. Lunch out for dh's birthday. Lost track of calories. Expect weight will be up tomorrow but I lost 3.5 lbs in April (from 3/31 weight), so I am still pleased.

    For an overall goal I want to get to 30 minutes a day exercise, average 1200 calories a day, and drink 64 oz. water a day.
