High rise jeans may be mommy jeans but at least they hold more of the belly in so that one doesn't end up with the "muffin top" look. A goal to strive for myself maybe....exercise that stomach...so I can wear different types of jeans without worrying about the muffin top.

Eh, it takes more than a high rise to make mommy jeans. It also takes a looser fit through the butt and thighs, tapered legs, usually little pleats in front, and usually pockets in back that are too high, too small, too wide apart. It's the whole package!

Okay, I think I've got it. At this point in my body I guess I don't wear mommy jeans, but the top part doesn't show anyway, cause I always wear something long enough to cover the belly. Don't like the tapered legs, so I think I'm safe. Thanks!
