SW (12/30): 136.6
January results: -7.4 lbs (136.6-->129.2) , Body fat 35--> 28%
February results: -1 lb (129.2 --> 128.2) , Body fat 28 --> 25%

Ugh sometimes I really hate this process. I had a low weight of 126.2 this month but am now 128.2. I have been working out every day and I am freaking hungry but to no avail with the scale. I have been pretty sore these past few days so maybe that is some of the gain. I am happy with the body fat result but I still want to be smaller. Anyways,

March goal: - 3 lbs (128.2--> 125). I have a trip this month so hopefully I make my goal.

3/2: 128.2

That's a great reduction with the body fat % and I'm sure you feel better with the exercise.

Heck, I haven't lost a pound in four years and am fine with that. At some point, it's about feeling good and being healthy. There's likely a point where your body wants to hang out and you won't have to be hungry.

If I'm hungry, I eat, just healthy stuff 95% of the time. Guess it depends what you are willing to go through to be a certain weight.

Maybe try eating every few hours to avoid being hungry? I eat 150-300 cal every few hours and that works.

Good luck!

Thank you!

I set an ultimate goal of 122 and/or 22% body fat it just that I cant get a new workout outfit or a cheat meal until I hit 125 (arbitrary I know) but I am trying my best to stick to those rules and wait it out but I just want a hamburger lol. Work is also stressing me out. I know there are bigger problems in the world though so I should just get over it.

Exercise will help you with stress. Other than that, you have to work on the stuff that stresses you out. I stayed an hour and a half late at work today just to clean up my papers since they were stressing me out! Narrow down the exact source of your stress and do something about it.

Cheat meal- cheat item. Once a week. Not even a meal. Like that hamburger but no French fries. Or a Hershey bar. Or whatever it is you want. That's how I keep my sanity. It's usually scallion pancakes with brocolli and chicken. I ordinarily wouldn't eat those, but will have a few hundred calories worth. During the week, no junk at all, but stuff that you like. Otherwise you may binge if you get hungry or annoyed that you can't have the burger/cake/ice cream whatever.

There's a place that opened by us that is Asian instead of Mexican and they make burritos with a big scallion pancake. It's like a wrap flavored with scallions and who knows what. I get chicken and brocolli in a bowl, sauce on the side, and the wrap on the side. I'm sure the wrap is flour and is 100% a nutritional nightmare!

These hormone fluctuations with my BC are really making it hard to lose again. I haven't even had any "bad" food since January :/

Before birth control pills I was 110 lbs at 5'4.5". Went up to 130 lbs for a while. That was interesting. I'm still on them and have been for over twenty years. My doctor put me on them to reduce migraines. I still get migraines but am paranoid they would be worse without the BC, so I stay on it.

Have you been off them? Has it helped you lose weight?

I too have been on the same low dose for 20 years. My weight fluctuated, but I think it depended more on my food/activity at the time. I was able to reach my goal weight last year on them, but then they found benign liver tumors and advised I stop them....such a bad call.

Once stopping, I gained weight at a slow but steady rate, hormones got out of whack, testosterone went high, estrogen dropped, I didn't have periods for months then I finally did.

I decided to re-start them in January, back to my same brand/dose. I was hoping it would re-stablize my hormones and help me lose. It has sort of just stayed the same, weight wise. I don't think my hormones have stabilized because I still have acne (when I didn't before on them) and I keep spotting all month.

I really regret ever stopping them and just hope everything evens out and lets me lose weight again.
