Default Down 43lbs in 4 months

My husband and i got super comfortable just going out and eating everything we wanted without thing of the consequences. We balloned up. He went up to 280lbs and i went up to 258lbs. I realized i needed to make changes when my knees would hurt going up the stairs, and he realized he had to start losing weight when my son asked to race and after a couple feet he got dizzy and felt like he was going to have a heart attack. That was the beginning of our journey to a healthier life. We stopped buying junk food and stopped eating fastfood all the time. We drink our protein shake for breakfast and have healtier smaller portioned meals for lunch and dinner. He has lost 50lbs and i 43. It has really helped that we are doing it as a team. Im happy to see that im down from a size 20 to a 16😊. My goal is 160. Hopefully by the summer.

Good luck! My long term boyfriend and I have both lost and regained lots of weight. 2 years ago I lost about 20 pounds and he lost 60. The past year we both gained 30 pounds. We decided it's time to make a permanent change. He got gallstones and needed to have his gallbladder removed. The yo-yo diet just doesn't work. Now I've lost 6 pounds and he has lost 4 pounds! It really does help when it's a team Good luck to you and your husband!

Wow, that's amazing! Wish I had my husband on board but he's already super fit, a healthy weight, and can eat all the junk he likes without putting on any. So unfair! Any update since you first posted?
