Hello Everyone

Doni....It was so great to see a post from you!!!!!

I have missed you!! We have all asked about you & wondered what happened. Have you had time to go back and read some of the old posts? Welocme back!!!!

Dee.....On Debbie's video: I started it off with her being a baby,young child,young woman, her husband,kids,grandkids & family. I ended it with friends. I played a special song for each group of pictures. It was very nice. She cried a lot!!

I want to tell everyone bye. I'll be leaving in the morning for Gatlinburg for the weekend. I don't have time to post to everyone because I'm trying to wash clothes and pack. I still have a lot to do and I'm so tired.

I hope to see lots of posts when I get back!!!! Hopefully one from Ramona,Vicki & Carol too. I sure miss them!

I love you all....I'll post Sunday night.

I'm tired too!!! I need to confess something....it seems like all I do is run in circles. Today was my day off and I had an appointment scheduled. After the appointment, I came home, grabbed some lunch, checked my email and proceeded to make my way into the livingroom and recliner. TWO hours later I finally made it back up! I ended up falling asleep and wasting most of the day! It was soooooooo nice! I had no one around and I didn't need to run errands etc. for parents and family.

Welcome back, Doni!!! We've missed you so much! Are you still with husband? Last time you were here, he was being a *******. I can't believe DD is 13!! Did you do something special for her on her 13th bday? Please let us all know what's been going on in your life. Also, you had just getting your vision back, as I remember. How is it now?

Sherry-Have a great time in Gatlinburg.

Gayle-You needed and deserved the rest. I'm glad that you were able to get some down time in your hectic life.

Dee-I didn't realize that the wedding was so far away. At least they will be prepared for married life by then.

School is out today, even though it could have been in. Looks like Wilma won't be coming our way until late Sun, early Mon. My guess is that we won't be going Monday either. I was supposed to get my hair highlighted Tuesday, but I'm sure that won't happen. I am going out for a long run this morning, just in case the weather prevents much running this weekend. Gotta get my 30 in for the week. I only need 9 more, so I'll probably do that today.

I got this message from Doni to post for her because she could not get in to the website, but she apparently made it logged in on her own.

At any rate she gave me the motivation to come back to you as well. I have missed you all.

I see Sherry is on her way to Gatinburg. Good for her. I hope she has a great time.

It will take me awhile to go back and get updated by reading all the past posts, so how about you gals give me an update and tell me what you have been up to and what has been happening with everyone???

I am still recovering from my ankle surgery. I am up and walking on it (slowly) but I have a brace on it. Next week I start physical therapy. I still have a great deal of problems with the ankle that has not been fixed as well so I am hoping to get that one done next year.

I have to finish getting dressed for work, but I will try to check back with you all later.

HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!!!

Carol-Welcome back! I just got back from a drizzly 9 mile run. Now off to Walmart to fight the hurricane crowds. I'm only going for sf/ff fudgsicles and salad dressing. Who cares if they will melt? I'll probably eat them all before the electricity goes off anyway!!LOL>

Hello all!

Got a "good" report from my colonoscopy yesterday. "Good" in quotation marks because I don't have cancer or hemorroids, but I do have a fissure, or tear. I have to start eating a high fiber diet, taking stool softeners every day--whether I need them or not--and am no supposed to use toilet paper ever again.

My mid-term tests are over so, for now, I am stress free. I do have a paper due week after next, but I'll worry about it tomorrah.

Glad, so glad, to see Doni and Carol back!!!!!!!!!

Shelley, I've been and will be thinking of you in the coming week.

Gayle, feels good just to lay around for a while, doesn't it?

Sherry, enjoy Gatlinburg. Hope you don't have to sit in traffic for hours!!

Doni you some sort of jeannie (sp? can't spell you got me too excited)pulling men out of your lamp? I wish I could do that when I need one! Now get your mind out of the gutter, I mean to help around the house.

Sherry have a wonderful weekend. Laundry, you seem to do a whole lot of that! Do you only wear one set of cloths? Enjoy your weekend. We will work on lots of reading material for when you get back. It sounds like you made a touching video for Debbie. I am sure that Debbie will always cherish that.

Carol I am glad that you are back posting. It must feel good to be up and walking again even if you do need a brace.

Shelley, yes it is a long wait til the kids get married. They will have been going out 5 and a half years by then. Stay safe. Hopefully the hurricane will die down before it hits Florida. Enjoy your day off.

Gayle do you wear glasses? Maybe with getting the drops yesterday it made you extra tired. Do you think our guys would feel guilty if they took a long nap on their day off? No! So why should you? You needed it so don't feel bad.

Cheryl I am glad that most of the news was good news. Now for the stupid question......if you aren't suppose to use toilet paper again.....what do you do?
Do you need a bidet? I am so dumb.....;(

Cheryl, I'm glad the worry is over for you and now you know your condition and what you need to do to ease the discomfort. Nice to see you here posting on a regular basis.

Carol, I'm glad your back! I'm surprised to hear you haven't started therapy yet on your ankle. Is there a reason why they postpone it so long after surgery?

Dee, I wear contacts during the day and glasses in the late evening here at home. I have wore the same brand of contacts for around 10 years now with great success. This doctor now decided I have cornia erosion caused from not enough oxygen getting to the eye. He prescribed me a "newer & better" contact which is a gel type and will allow oxygen to the cornia. I said no, but he told me I had no choice in the matter. Soooooooo, being the stubborn soul I am, I will give them a try and make sure I follow proper maintenance in changing sets etc. In 1 year I will go back, if there is no improvement to my cornia, I will be finding a different doctor. Honestly, I think my old ones are fine, he just wanted to prescribe me the newer style. Makes me suspicious when I have so called cornia damage but yet my vision has not changed over the past 5 years.

Shelley, do you eat the blue bunny brand fudgesicles? If so, I will send you some coupons.

Gayle-I have never tried them, but I would love to! They are more expensive than the ones I eat, so maybe with a coupon I can afford them.

Cheryl-I was going to ask the same question Dee did. No the next silly one. What about flushing the wipes?? I didn't think that you can do that.

Cheryl, what was the doctor logic in using a baby wipe? To me the roughness would be about the same as toilet tissue. Is it because it cleanses after each use? HMMM...never thought we would be having an on going discussion about bathroom habits. LOL!

shelley,i hope wilma doesnt make it to you!i have been horrified by the hurricanes this year!my sister lives in mississippi they had minimal damage but still!my cousins son is in the service and was posed to leave for iraq he was stationed in louisianna and was helping in the effort of new orleans he was just sickened by the sights he saw he said hed rather had gone to iraq!
he suffered a severe nervous breakdown and was shipped back to indiana dont know how long but he is not in good shape!
im am praying for you guys!i realy am!my heart goes out to all!

wished i had good news but alas i do not!well as you probably remember he cut me off in sept. because i got to heavy!in feb.our friend came to stay with us for a short cuz he was having problems with his marriage we have known him for 13 yrs.he gave me dble pnemonia rite before my surgery remember?
got over that and had the surgery!
it was successful and free do to the new program im on!
still things got worse here!
i fell into a deep depression i didnt care about myself anymore my husband was getting worse looking at other women in front of me and watching porn on the puter!
i gained my weight back plus some.
all the hard work id put in for nothing!i ballooned back up to 267!
i was miserable things got worse he got worse saying horrible things to me!
i gave up and considered killing myself!it was that bad!
i wallowed in self pity sleeping the days away and just exsisted!
my baby girl snapped me out of it!
mommy cant you just live for you and me?
i love you no matter what size you are!come back to me!
oh god i felt like someone gave me electrical shock!
i had confided to our friend the things that brian had done and said he knew something was up cuz he seen me slip away!
he was a true friend to me and told me i was worth something and brian was a *******!
so my dd made sure i exercised everyday literly dragging my vids out and putting them in,by now my ra was running rampand was so stiff and sore.
i plugged away and went on the slimfast diet.my eyesight was nearing perfect.
and the pounds started slipping away i was feeling better,
back down to 245 felt pretty good ok next step i havent wore makeup for 8 yrs cuz the cataract was so bad couldnt see my face! i applied it and hey i didnt look bad!made me feel good.
april came and it got warmer went cross the street to sit with the neighbor that brian was eyeballin and comparing me to wasnt her fault you know she said you know your hair is so long but you always have it up you ought to let it down fix it up .
so i did little did i know it would be a total transformation for me!
my hair is waist lenghth farrah fawcett style in the front frosted with lots of layers no way i could keep up with the do but i did and i must say after i was done i didnt reconize myself!
who is this person?
anouther 15 pounds dropped off i started going to the tanning beds and layed out put myself number one for me and dd she was so proud!
the neighbors asked each other whose that?
that big of a change!
was so proud of myself started wearing clothes that fit properly doing my face and hair everyday till it became habit!
well i was ready to save my marriage i asked him for sex here it was may now i lost weight surley hed want me but still the answer was no!i cried myself to sleep! i woke up at 5 in the morning to catch him doing the nasty on the puter.i snapped!i realized im doing this for me now!
in june he informed me that.........
if i didnt gain the weight back he was leaving me!!!!!!!!!!!
WTF!
i couldnt lose no more weight!
you gotta be kidding me?everyone was noticing my efforts and the compliments started pouring in.
my friend was so proud of me!we are such good friends he helped me so much!
then the bomb dropped !brian made the biggest mistake of his life he threatened to cut my hair off in my sleep!!!!!!!!!
he could not handle the new me aqnd his buddies at work was telling him i was to pretty for HIM!
course it made it **** for me,i was accused of cheating,damn i wished!lol!
he informed me i couldnt talk to any of our friends male or female couldnt go outside noone was allowed to see me!
one special day my friend got on puter and i was talking to him on im.
he told me he had feelings for me,i know i know!
now ill be 45 sat.brian is 38 and jason is 33 he is married but its failing.
we started talking secretly and seeing as we were friends first we get along great.he and brian work together he would call from work and check on me.
he told me in sept. he was in love with me and i love him back!we will be filing for divorce probably after the holidays he has already proposed to me and catagan loves him and he her.
my mom and dad know and there soo happy ,his parents know and they love me to,we all know each other cuz of the long standing friendship.
my girlfriends are so happy.
i hope i have you guys support!
ok no brian doesnt have a clue cuz he says noone would want me i mean im old and still fat.jason works days and brian 2nd shift.
he calls every 2 hours to tell me he loves me comes to see me at my house for he goes home his wife dont know either she treats him badly practicly lives with her mom 70 milers away leaves him alone alot!
i love him deeply being friends first helped out i can be myself lord knows he has seen me at my worst no putting on airs.
im finaly happy in my skin and know im worth somthing now.i have come full circle it seems and for once im truly happy!
please be happy for me.
no i havent said anything to brian because id fear for my safety,when the time is rite ill be gone with my daughter and be staring my new life and i wont be scared of him!
i know you are all in shock!
so am i ,i keep asking myself am i dreaming?
ive gone from a tite 26 to a 17/18 and im told i look 36 not bad.
never in a million yrs would i have thought id be with jason he is a doll look at my tag with my name he is the spiiting image of this guy!
im truly lucky!
im getting healthyier everyday and my ra is in remission!

Doni-What a wonderful thing to happen for you. Your metamorphisis must be amazing. Send pictures! As for Brian, what an idiot and verbal abuser. Sounds like you may be headed for some trouble from him when you leave. Please keep posting. I am behind you 100%!!
