Default lower body Qs?

Hey girls....I just started BFL and I'm really excited!

I have a question about quad/ham options.....

I don't belong to a gym, have a great elliptical at home, as well as a bench and lots of dumbells. My question is this....I have bad knees, so squats and lunges are really hard for me. What exercises can I do for quads and hams to take the place of leg extensions, curls, and presses?

I was thinking that maybe I could go to a gym for the lower body....but it's only 6 times a month, really....does anyone know of any chains that have a pay-per-visit policy for gyms?

TIA! xo, mkb

Good for you for starting BFL it's a great beginner program...

Most gyms have drop in fee the price will vary from $7 to 15$ in most gyms, so maybe it would be worth it to get a gym membership because gym memberships go from $20 to 40$/month...
