I made it! I'm at 199! I've officially taken my first step over the 200/100 border and am a permanent resident of One-derland.
Yes. I am a permanent resident! I've decided I never want to see any other number at the beginning of my weight again.
You know what came to my attention yesterday after the cloud of euphoria lifted enough for me to think clearly? I've never seen a gain through these whole 8 weeks I've been on the program. Last time I did this, I was on it for 7 weeks and lost only 3 pounds because I had been gaining a few pounds there and losing half a pound here. It says to me that I really want this and that I'm loving the results.
I think what's so much fun is that I can go shopping in my closet again. I'm putting on clothes that are supposed to be a size too small and they're fitting beautifully. Yes, there are still some problem areas (I'm still 64 pounds away from my goal, after all), but the point is that the clothes are fitting so I can wear them out and feel comfortable in them. The smallest pant size I can get into is an Old Navy 16 (who knows what that means), and I can get into a New York and Company size large shirt. My body shape is tightening up because of my workout, so I'm creating a different shape than what I used to see in the mirror when I was 199 before.
I'm just so excited to be here and to see this number! When the lady told me I had lost a pound, I was said, "Are you sure?" Lol. See, it's my TOM (wrapping it up today, thank God), and I was just praying to break even, but I was able to lose, which was awesome. I wonder how much it'll go down next week because TOM usually screws losses up, lol.
And it sounds weird, I'm sure, but I am so thrilled to get to go from 26 points a day to 24. Lol. My goal is of course 22, so I'm just getting closer and closer to that number! Hehe.
But I don't think I could have done this without you sistas! I didn't have this kind of support before, which I think is why I didn't do so well. But being able to come and talk to you guys and read your posts and everything has really been such an amazing change in the way I see this program. Thank you all so much for being there for me!!!
Amanda... there aren't enough dancing bananas in the world to tell you how excited I am for you.. although the 21-Nanner Salute really exemplifies it! Way to go, way to go, way to go. And Liz, you can absolutely do it! You know what helped me get here? I wasn't obsessing over it like I normally do. I dunno...I just kinda got myself into the habit of dropping 1-2 pounds a week, and before I knew it: One-derland. I bet you can definitely meet your goal by December! Stick with it and you can do anything!!
Amanda..I am new here..but just wanted to say that I am so excited for you! I cannot wait to get there...so does it feel good or what??? I know it must! WOO HOO FOR YOU!!

Oh man...yeah, it feels so amazing to be at 199. I'm having so much fun shopping in my own closet again, lmao. It's hilarious...all these clothes I was so close to donating are starting to fit again. It's so much fun!
So, get your butt over here in One-derland! If you ever need any help or motivation or anything, your sistas here will be here to, as Maggie so wonderfully put it, push you over that 200/199 line.
