Question Apple Sauce and Honey instead of Sugar?

I have been searching the web (OK so I'm not very good at web searching) for something that will tell me how to substitue apple sauce and/or honey for sugar in recipes.

I can't eat the artificial sweeteners because they make me really ill.

I have found a few things on honey but they are all just enough different that all it did was leave me confused.

I haven't found anything on substituting applesauce which is what I would really rather use.

Can anyone help me with a web site or a book that I could purchase some where or get at the library that would give me this information?

Thanks.

(I keep seeing Stevia as a natural alternative to sugar)

Here is some information about substituting applesauce. Applesauce is usually used as a substitute for oil rather than sugar. I'm not sure about subsituting for sugar.
