Default Impingement of the Fat Pad Under the Knee Cap

Anyone ever experienced this? My doctor is trying to rule some issues out, but thinks this may be why my knee hurts.

I'm a runner, but haven't been able to for a month now. Just hoping someone out there has had it and has a success story to share! Pleeeaaassseeee...

I so need to get back out there! Other forms of exercise just don't do it for me.

I've never heard of it but Googled it and found some interesting information...

Thanks Ilene! I have actually read this article, which was insightful. However, it didn't really give a timeline to recovery. I guess maybe that needs to come from my doctor once he's ruled out that there isn't anything else going on.

I guess I was hoping someone else out there had gone through this and knew approximate recovery time. I guess that's kinda dumb considering our bodies are all different. I think I'm just starting to get a little crazy not being able to run. It just sucks!

Well, I guess I'll just be patient for now... (not my best trait)

Thanks so much for the help!
