Question My teen has hypoglycemia and is gaining weight

Has anyone got any experience cooking for a teen who is hypoglycemic and helping them with balancing a proper diet with weight?
This is getting really difficult and we end up fighting.

You need to make an appointment with a Registered Dietician or Nutritionist (Get a referral from her doctor). She'll be able to work out an eating plan your teen will like and it will be healthy.

Thanks, we did that! However, it's easier for us (and a nutritionist) to think about and say what should be done, but for a 14 year old.... another story.
We're working on it and I thank you so much for your thoughts.
