Default 105 pounds to go
105 pounds to go. aggghhhhhhhh

My name is Donna and I have a goal.

Before children, I was between size 9 and 12 depending on clothes. After the birth of second child I suffered postparterm depression so bad, that not only did I not lose the 55 pounds I gained, I put on another 25 pounds. Grand total 80 pounds. I won't lie, that was 10 years ago. Since then, I have been on every diet known to man.

I work, and have a husband. I carry the weight pretty well. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big girl, but nobody would ever guess that I was 228 pounds.

In the past 3 months, I've quit smoking (December) and joined the gym. I have started to run in the past week and I have high hopes that I can start to let some of my weight go.

Good to have you here Donna. Just keep going to the gym and eat good food and you will be there before you know it. I was where you are now last year and I'm down 111 lbs so far. I hope to have another 80 gone by next year at this time.

You sound all fired up and ready to go - hopefully your positive attitude will rub off on the rest of us!

Congrats on quitting smoking and joining a gym - the weight will drop off I'm sure!
