I joined this board a couple months back..started off okay...my best friend was diagnosed with breast cancer in mid February and I've been off the board ever since gaining 5lbs of which I've lost 2.5. She had a double mast., and is going thru chemo right now. I'm taking her to a lot of appointsments, but even with that I've maintained my exercise routine even intensifying it a bit. No weight loss!! very frustrating.
going to make appt for physical to test thyroid and to test for PCOS (have quite a few of those symptoms). don't want to give up...would love to get below 200 by end of September.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend, I'm glad that you're taking time out to look after yourself too.
Don't "give up" just try to stick with the small healthy changes you're making. Try and gather some "good habits" then you won't have anything to give up, cos it will all come easily if it's a habit!
