Default OT: Looking for pretty dresses to motivate me

My niece is getting married in June, and I really want to look good for it! I also want to buy a new dress for it. What are your favorite sites for clothes that motivate you?

I've been "window" shopping on ebay lately. I find styles I like, etc. and will watch the item. If I happen to have a couple extra bucks I will bid on one or two. I'm so misproportioned though that if I were needing a dress of a wedding I would have to go in and try it on.

Oooo I definately do this. Sometimes I window shop for vacations that I would go on with my new bod (a clothing optional beach in Tahiti with a sarong for those "shy" moments). It's fun to daydream.

I look at bathing suits and dream of actually liking one on me and not just finding one that doesn't make me want to tear my hear out at the roots, LOL!

I like some of the dresses at Seventh Avenue and Midnight Velvet (I think they're sister companies, actually).

Oh, if the pocketbook were bottomless, I'd get one off this site when I reached my goal weight: http://raspberryberet.com/ Wowee!

Thanks for the suggestions (and am open to more!). Here's the dress I have my eye on, although I don't think it's very realistic that I'll lose enough weight to feel confident wearing it. Oh, well, I can dream!

Wow, I LOVE that dress you picked out. I too am going to a wedding this spring and have my eye on some of the dresses at Anthropologie (http://www.anthropologie.com). Like you, I have no idea if I'll be able to fit into the one I want by then (sadly, I'm guessing not, as their sizes tend to run small), but I will rejoice the day I can wear stuff from that store.
