Newbie here..Im NEW and wanted to say HI!!
Hi everyone...Im Selena, 40, married with no children...I am starting the SouthBeach diet tomorrow...I am excited about it and also joined Curves to help me along.. I am sooo tired of being overweight..I would like to lose about 100 pounds...
This is a wonderful board..I have been lurking now for a few days, and decided TODAY that I will join and start getting CONTROL of my eating..
Thanks for a wonderful support site ....

Welcome to the Beach, Selena! Make sure you check out the updated food lists in the FAQ forum. The lists are more current than the book.

Thanks everyone for the wonderful welcome...today is Day "6" for me!!! and so far, so good! 
I also joined Curves and did that "4" times this week...
My first weigh in, is on Monday...I'm not expecting miracles...but I have been sooo good and made me a weekly menu planner, which I followed exactly and did not stray from it...
I just wanted to say HI...I love this forum..and hope to be around more often!!
Thanks again........I love it on the BEACH!!

I'm sure you will do just great with your weigh in. When I first saw your post I was thinking you were starting tomorrow, which is going to be my start day. I too am ready to lose the weight. I need to get rid of my cravings. Let us know how you did.
