Default Anyone here use recumbent exercise bike?

Hi,

I wondered if anyone here uses a recumbent exercise bicycle? I have osteoarthritis and my knees bother quite a bit. The rheumatologist told me to use a bicycle. I had used the regular kind of exercise bike before, but the seat wasn't comfortable, so I bought a recumbent one ~ the seat seemed comfortable. I have used it a few times, and found it to be comfortable while using it, but the next day, my back bothers really bad. I don't know if it is a posture problem or what. Has anyone else had this experience ~ any suggestions?

Thanks for your help.

I use a recumbant at my gym and I've never experienced back problems ... can you adjust the seat/back angle and try different positions?
