I'm in OWL, but can I still post goals here? I promise not to detract from the induction-ness of it all

Talking

Hi, well have moved over from the other thread..

I started induction 31/12/04 and have been really strict!!
I have been down this part of the 'atkins' road to recovery once before, but had to come off due to ill health (nothing atkins related.. but under gp's disapproving orders).

Goal's for the week :

1, to learn to log all my foods - I've been mentally adding up carbs
2, to stick to strict induction
3, to NOT weigh myself till Friday

Exercise will come the following week, as wanted to get over the 'side affects' of induction and my aerobics buddy isn't about till next tuesday's class.

I'm already feeling my 'small' jeans are a bit more comfortable (not loose by any means.. but there's time yet)! So fingers crossed they'll become my 'big jeans' soon!!

Count me in!

Goals:

1) Induction for 2 weeks.
2) Drink 8-10 c of H2O every day.
3) Exercise 4-5 times this week. Start out slow....WATP 1 mile tape!
4) Try not to be so hard on myself!
5) Like Hugs ~ learn to log my foods, actually it would be, make some time to do that!

Hey ya Hugs! In answer to your question from the other thread, I am a Registered Nurse. I work in a small rural hospital that has a combination ICU/Med-Surg unit. I only work the weekends, Friday and Saturday night 7pm to 7am. Works well for us.

Gotta jet!

Talking What a day!

Wow! Everyone has some great goals this week! Make sure you all check in and let us know how it is going!

Hugs and Caroline - Do you know about Fitday? You probably do, but just in case I though I would give you the link. I when I use it faithfully it works wonders. I am seriously considering buying the full version.

I am doing really well today. I am having MAJOR MAJOR headaches .. Pretty close to my migraines.. but I am getting through it. I also had a really bad stress moment. The school called that my son hit his head on a pole outside at recess and that they wanted me to come take a look. When I got there, he had a GOOSE EGG and really dilated eyes. Took him to the doctor and it isnt too serious, just a hematoma but I am to watch him for concussion symptoms. Poor Little guy. Anyway.. that would normally drive me to eat.. but I am drinking my water instead! How is everyone elses day?

Poor Karen!!!

Here are my goals for the week:
* Log all my food!
* Exercise at 5 days this week (no dinner until exercise is done)
* Catch up on housework

Ok, I know the last one doesn't sound health/fitness/diet related but it really is. When I'm behind on housework I become a stressball and stress is bad for weight loss as well as overall well being.

Default I could use a good, swift BOOT

I began induction again on 12/27/05. My goals for the week are:
  1. Stick with rules of induction 100%
  2. Log food daily into FitDay
  3. Make a complete meal plan for NEXT week (instead of flying by the seat of my pants)
  4. Contemplate exercising a little more seriously (LOL)
  5. Finally, but very importantly, stop blaming last year's chemo for my weight gain and realize that my choice to endulge in non-stop pity bingeing was to blame.
So far, so good!
