Question Day 1 of Phase I...Can you look over my menu for me?

I just want to make sure I'm doing this right, since my book has yet to come and I wanted to start today, anyway.

I'm not quite sure about the balsamic vinegar??

Here are the ingredients in it:
2 cloves garlic mashed into 1/4 tsp salt
1 shallot chopped
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1/4 c. Extra virgin Olive Oil

Here's my menu for today:

B: 2 whole egg omelette, 1 tbsp light cheddar and salsa.
L: grilled beef tenderloin cut up in a salad (lettuces, tomatoes, olives and a homemade viniegrette).
D: grilled boneless, skinless chicken breaast, cauliflower(with ICBINB spray) and a little bit of homemade bean salad (green beans, wax beans, kidney beans & chickpea's).

Thanks!!

Balsamic vinegar is great to use. Your menu looks fine but where are the snacks? We should be eating every couple of hours to keep our blood sugar from spiking/dipping.

Looks good, Rose! Barb is right... make sure you have your snacks so that you're getting enough calories.

nuts are one of the few things that we have to count. I believe we are allowed 20 peanuts a day. That just isn't enough for me so I don't eat them very often. I can eat as much veggies as I want so I usually much on red peppers or cauliflower with 2 TBSP hummus or horseradish/mayo dip.
