I have limited experience of ab rollers, because many gyms still use them. They do work. You can add weight to them to make crunches more difficult. They help correct form and posture, so it's a decent ab exercise if you're just starting out. But as your abs get stronger, I find it's better to abandon the ab roller for more challenging exercises.

Ab Sliders... Are those the scooter-like things that you hold onto and roll yourself back and forth? Because I tried those a few times and they are difficult to master. Your posture can get very messed up and I personally don't like them at all.

Thighmasters... I've never even SEEN one except on tv. The fact that no gym or class I've ever been to uses them makes me think they're a scam. You'll get better results with the Adduction/Abduction machines in a gym.

I would recommend buying a more versatile product that you can use not only to work your thighs, but other muscles as well. Body balls, resistance bands, and body bars are all good investments. There are dozens of exercises you can do with each of those pieces of equipment.

if you get Susan Somers Thigh and But masters you get a workout w/ them. It shows how to work the arms, legs, but, and back. It also has stomach work to use them w/. I highly recommend them if you are tight on cash! Check ebay, I got mine for about 20 dollars.
