This is the thread where we will post the foods/grocery items that are helping us through this journey.

That is the link for Butter Spray. I use it on air-popped popcorn, cooked veggies, even toast.
Your turn! I'm looking forward to hearing everyone else's tools.

Speaking of taglines, Gretchen, I think I should get royalties for yours!
Ok, now on to the business of my cart. Here are the staples, in no particular order:
- 99% fat free turkey breast chops
- Fresh tilapia
- Those handy aluminum packs of tuna
- Smart Ones Orange and Cream Treats (40 cal's, 1/2 gram of fat, and 5 carbs!)
- Flash frozen loose asparagus
- Shelled edamame (soybeans)
- Light n' Lively lowfat cottage cheese single servings (4 oz.)
- Pre-washed fresh spinach, romaine, baby carrots, and mixed greens
- Apples and plums
- Frozen blueberries
- All Bran Extra Fiber
- Skim Milk
- Plain, fat free yogurt
- Designer Whey Protein Powder (not a grocery item, but it's a BIGTIME staple for me, nonetheless!!!!)
- Chicken breasts
- Cold pressed extra virgin olive oil
- Bottled lemon juice
- Reduced fat feta
- Long grain brown rice
- Long grain basmati
- Flash-frozen, individually packaged salmon fillets
- Hellman's reduced calorie mayo (I'm only allowed 1 tbsp)
- Pepperidge Farm Carb Style 100% Whole Wheat Bread (stone ground)
- I don't buy these, I grow them, but for me these are critical also: fresh basil, rosemary, mint, and italian parsley.
There's an awful lot more that helps to keep me on plan -- I always have the same breakfast, mid-morning, and mid-afternoon snacks, but my lunches and dinners vary wildly, and I relish their variety. The above, though, are the items that MUST be on hand for life as I know it to continue.
