Thumbs up Exercise Challenge


Ok chickies are we up for the exercise challenge again this month. Not really sure what ever happend to last months but if you chicks are up for it we will try again for May. Bathing suits are just around the bend.

May 3rd- 1.30 of walking in the woods with my honey.
May 4th- 30 minutes on the treadmill.
May 9th- 90 minutes of gardening
May 11th-90 minutes of biking ( you can now call me the fall girl)
May 12- 60 minutes gardening, 45 minutes yoga
May24th- 30 minutes gardening
May 25th- 35 minutes treadmill, 10 minutes arm weights
May 26th- 40 minutes treadmill, 10 minutes arm weights ( I need to loose the jiggly arms)
May 27th-21 minutes treadmill
May28th- 20 minutes treadmill 5 minutes arm weights. ( still a little sore could not do anymore.)
May 30th- 90 minutes of gardening(digging and transplanting and useing the wheelbarrel.) 15 minute walk.
May 31st- 40 minutes treadmill, 60 minutes gardening.

May 3 - 40 min walking
May 4 - 30 min walk + 1 hour Step + 1 hour weights
May 5- 40 min walk
May 6 - 40 min walk (if the weather holds out) (usually do Step and weights, but going to a "friends" thing tonight)

Hmmm...so to do this challenge, we need to list what we are going to do or what we have done? I feel like a total slacker in this group...you guys work out a lot! Wow!

My current goal is to do 20 mins of elliptical machine and ten minutes of weights on May 7, 10, 12, and 14, etc. (every M-W-F).

Thanks for getting us moving again Little Chick!! I've really started to make my exercise a routine (which is a miracle for me) and I wanted somewhere to show off a little.

May 1 - 30 min of walking
May 2 - 30 min of walking
May 3 - 22 min stationary bike, 20 min weights
May 4 - Nothing, nada, zippo
May 5 - 22 min stationary bike, 20 min weights
May 6 - 22 min elliptical trainer, 25 min weights
May 7 - Nada
May 8 - 30 min walk
May 9 - 20 min walk
May 10 - Nothing
May 11 - 22 min cross trainer, 20 min weights
May 12 - Nothing
May 13 - 35 min jog/walk (on my way to a 5K end of June!)
May 14 - Nothing
May 15 - 30 min dancing
May 16 - 90 min walk
May 17 - Nothing
May 18 - Nothing
May 19 - Nothing - I know, I'm ashamed

Total to date: 438 minutes

May 3: tae bo type class (VERY high intensity!) 60 min
May 4:
May 5: 60 min cardio

gotta do a strength day soon and one more cardio day. gonna aim to do 5 gym days per week this month! (only doing 4 lately)

May 22: 4.5 miles (50 minutes) of kayaking
May 26: 20 minutes cardio (elip), 20 minutes weights, 15 minutes stretching

I feel like a slacker! I just started the diet and everything yesterday though, so not too bad. I plan on doing the elliptical for 30 minutes tomorrow, maybe hit up the racquetball courts! (i still don't know how to play the game, but it's fun to hit the ball around!)

Ugh, I would fail this months challenge due to finals coming up. SO instead I will live vicariously through whomever is doing the most exercise

Cool

I have a lot of catching up to do in the excersing department but I have been doing a lot of renovations of my house lately and I feel like that is a lot of bending and stretching and going up and down the stairs. Finally done this weekend. New shed in back, new kitchen floor, new patio set (had to be assembled), painted daughters bedroom. Took all furniture out, new carpeting, put all furniture back, hand new shades. The mess will be done this weekend and now for the garden. Bending and stretching again. I think I meet your challenge.
