Talking Great Weigh In!

Yippee!

I hope it's okay to post a thread on this, but I just weighed in for my first week of Phase 1, and I lost 17 lbs!!! I am so totally thrilled! I have not been able to weigh on my digital scale at home, so I went and used the medical one at the college health center. What an amazing surprise!

To celebrate, I'm having peanut butter and pickles. It's not chocolate, but it will do.

Thanks for your support, guys!

Dill pickles are allowed but watch out for sweetened pickles.

Wow!

That kind of information would be worthwhile to post anywhere and I would say that is a great reason to have pickles and peanut butter!!!

Yay, Deb! You keep fighting, girl! My mom and I were talking about how hard the first three days of detox are, and she says the fear of having to go through that withdrawal again keeps her on the straight and narrow. Me, too, usually. I just haven't detoxed in forever! So I was thrilled to go into the convenience store on campus here (junk food heaven) and just buy chicken breasts, eggs, and nuts. Wow!

Thanks so much for the support, guys! It is awesome to know that I am getting healthier, and my husband is thrilled.

Thanks, Little Chick! How super supportive you are!

Hey, by the way, pikapuffie, yes, pickles are allowed. I just happen to like them with PB, which is widely recognized as a gross combination. For me, however, it's a treat.
